I maintain we should cancel the series. I hate that game. I never watch and I think it’s the dumbest game we play all season. Does nothing for us and everything for them.

It’s always in the middle of SEC play and at the very worst time. They can prepare for 3 weeks because they play 0 quality teams in their conference. We have to prepare for SC, LSU etc we can’t afford more than a few days prep for them or we will lose an SEC game.

I think were looking at a five or six with me thinking we get the five. I just hope it is the first five so we can get in with one of those Big Ten teams or Va Tech if they get the one seed. The schedule we decided to play cost us home court this season in the NCAA. LSU will have the home court and a big advantage over the teams in there with them as a two seed. We could've beat all those teams they beat and had at least six more wins. I think the data will say yes we are number one in SOS but that isn't helping you much when it comes to seeding. LSU way up there close to 100 SOS got a great advantage just through scheduling. In the end if they make the sweet sixteen and we lose on the road in the 32 all that will be remembered will be they were a sweet sixteen team and we were not. The message to me seems yes schedule two or three top teams not 10. Play those other seven against 100 to 150 ranked teams and come out with that big win total and then your at home when it actually matters.

You kno whats crazy i think we pretty much played all the rank teams lol looking at the polls so come tournament we should be ready because its possible we face every team twice (which is crazy to think about just a ridiculous schedule) this is why this a dangerous 5 seed

Actually yes. I complained for months that she didn’t look healthy or confident and probably should not have been playing.

Are you that naive or is it the hate you have for them blinding common sense? If they are cleared to play by the doctors, the player decides when they are ready. It's the same with any top, or not top program, including the LVs. If any of the injured Huskies just didn't come back, they would have had to pack in the season. BTW, Paige tore up her knee in a pick-up game with teammates in August, not last year. That injury had nothing to do with her injury last year.

And none of those teams should be ranked. The Big East is garbage. We didn’t see a Big East team in the top 25 for a decade and now…..suddenly?

No. As I said the other day, just because there is one good team in your league doesn’t mean the rest suddenly got better.

The way I view the Tennessee/UConn series is Tennessee is heading towards it 3rd era of greatness with early indications of a resurgence of dominance with commitments from generational prospects. UCONN is head towards the end of its 2nd era of championship basketball.
UCONN is struggling to dominate a weak conference due to some key injuries but also parity in WCBB. Tennessee will catch up to South Carolina. Any other program, Tennessee can compete with if the roster is healthy which hasn’t been the case in Tamari Key absence and the loss of Marta Suarez.

I’m not sure of that about either LSU or UCONN if fully healthy. LSU has major flaws in their roster. Losing Alexis Morris won’t be filled easily just like Tennessee losing Key this year left a big hole on the team that hasn’t been filled. UCONN will never be the same because there’s no guarantee returning back full strength from those kind of injuries.

No. As I said the other day, just because there is one good team in your league doesn’t mean the rest suddenly got better.

The Big East hate is so tired. We saw two ranked teams in the SEC majority of the year, one of whom is only there because they had an SOS worse than 8 BE schools . I’d bet that Creighton, Marquette and Nova could take on most P5 schools, as seen with Creighton beating 3 of them in last year’s tourney.

First of all, not everybody who posts on another team’s board is a troll. Secondly, and I cannot speak for anyone other than myself, it is always good to have a different perspective on something as subjective as sports. The same can be said of politics. If you just look at everything through dark blue tinted glasses or rocky top orange tinted glasses you might get a slightly altered understanding of reality. If you want an example of this you don’t have to look any farther than ESPN. It is repeated ad nauseam on Volnation how ESPN panders to the University of Connecticut, while on the UConn board they are very upset with ESPN for their disrespect of the Huskies. And, don’t even get me started on the topic of referee calls. I have been reading this board for many years and other than rare exceptions I do not remember instances of rampant disrespect from UConn fans toward this board. I can also say, I have absolutely not seen disrespect from Tennessee fans who visit the UConn site. But, what good would athletic rivalries be without a few irrational non-objective individuals?
