Was watching Daytona 500 and turning it back and forth to LSU game until start of 2nd quarter when the A&M doors were completely blown off .Then started to watch Duke /ND game when Duke was leading 37-36 and Notre Dame proceeded to blow up Duke.Now I am watching the News.

I’m still suffering through A&M and LSU lol.

A&Ms offense has come to a dead stop since Rogers went out.

I’m sure with our luck she’ll be back for our game.

Still hard to believe we lost to this A&M team. Even when they had all their players, they just aren’t very good. No offense at all.

Stuff like that been happening all season. I still think she’s gonna transfer. Most potential in WCBB right now wasting away under Taylor. That’s how she does though, always thought she had a lot of wasted talent at UGA.

I understand this is the non- lady Vol thread so you are certainly welcome to discuss whatever you like but if you think no one is ever going to have a fun laughing at banners for rankings as voted on by sportswriters and statues for 22 year olds then I don’t know what to tell you. NBA is attempting to move more towards the younger talent being featured.

LeBron of course until he retires will be featured but until Ja Morant done all this handgun bologna on Social Media . The NBA had hopes of Ja becoming face of League.

Now looking into SGA and Anthony Edwards to be face of League.

Salaries are what they are all the T.V. money.

Times they are a changing. This is true, but as the game gains popularity, and with the added talent entering the college game, it's just a matter of time before the WNBA eventually has enough stars and revenue that will make them just as entitled as the NBA. Not yet, but it will come.

Creighton is a dangerous team that wins by making 3 pointers, something that all five players can do. UConn held them to 6-30. Ten years ago, the Big East was the best women's conference in the country until the ACC raided the league based on football. On the mens side, it is still one of the best. But of course, your knowledge doesn't expand beyond the SEC. You do not want to play them in the tournament.

Just as entitled as the NBA? Uh, they’re already worse than that. How many Olympics will this year be for Diana again? And she’s not even one of the top 4 American guards at the moment, but refuses to step aside at the expense of younger players. That’s selfish as hell. Who wants to watch that 45 year old granny play?

Then there’s the fact they all want the benefits that the NBA players worked 75 years to build, but don’t want to put in the work. At least the first generation WNBA players were humble. They were thankful for the opportunity to play at home and tried to grow the game organically. The players now are spoiled and frankly can be quite unlikeable with how they constantly portray themselves as victims. I’ve pretty much tuned out because of this.

The league will never grow on its own, without more charity dollars from the NBA, until the players and league do a thorough and honest self-reflection on why they can’t consistently attract fans. Caitlin Clark might be an bandaid, but she alone can’t fix that if she doesn’t bring all her Iowa fans over to watch her games and buy her merchandise.
