Washington State 72 #13 Colorado 63 Final Utah also loss at home today

From Charlie Creme: Utah almost certainly saw its chances to host NCAA tournament games disappear with today's home loss to Washington. Colorado's are hanging in the balance now as well. Another whacky day in the Pac-12, but it may have just cost the league 2 hosting spots.

Watching #20 Oklahoma vs Kansas late 4th 81-70 Kansas, Oklahoma is winning the rebounding but no defense, So far they have put up 19 3's also have 18 turnovers.

Does Dawn play her starters tomorrow or the bench play most of the game. Next question does she blow tn out or let them hang around so tn doesn’t look so bad.

You don’t know CDS very well. She plays this game just like every other game in her coaching career, she always puts her team’s best foot forward until the final minute which includes playing her bench a ton of minutes to continue developing team depth and experience. She coaches the 4th quarter just as hard as the first three every game, even in blowouts, to keep the team ready for situations that require 40 minutes of effort, which always surface come tourney time. I’m sure CPS did the same. To do otherwise only instills bad habits and your team won’t be as sharp as they need to be late in games when the outcome is uncertain. It’s not about blowing teams out, it’s about always preparing her team for the next challenge ahead. Never wastes a teaching moment. Besides, it’s disrespectful to your opponent when you don’t give them your best effort.

Just ignore @Deebowbear. It's another of his/her's and @Majors' constant attempts to belittle our coach and team in the event of a competitive game.

One aspect of today’s UT vs SC game that should be drastically different than the last matchup is three point shooting. Both teams only made 2 three point shots in Knoxville, with SC going 2-9 and UT 2-17. I expect different results there today obviously for both sides, SC shoots the three very well at home. The rebounding battle will be interesting to watch again also, it was tight last time, and both squads did well keeping to’s fairly low. Key needs to be a good rim protector again in this one, she alters most shots in the paint, how many minutes can she go?

Good luck Tennessee....may you lose but look good doing it. This is what the SEC tournament and later the NCAA tournament is going to look like. Those will be though games, and this will help both teams get more ready.

I thought it wouldn't have been so bad if they had dropped a game up to this point in the season if nothing else but to take off some of the pressure of going undefeated. But now I fear we are past that point.

Two years ago when SC lost in the SEC title game to KY there was a lot of disappointment but then they refocused & went on to win the national title. Last year they ran the table up until the final 4. So we'll see how things turn out.

Auburn wins 77-74 at Florida. I'd think that would secure their spot in the NCAA tournament. Would not have guessed when we won at their place that that would've ended up as one of our best NET wins. Impressed by their season, their first time finishing .500 or better in the SEC since 2018-19.
