This was a close game. Does anyone know what the heck is going on with Del Rosario? I would pick LSU to win the SEC this year, but that would be depending on the growth of Del Rosario in the post with what looks on paper to be some of the best perimeter players on paper surrounding her. She is 6-6 and solid. She was looking good near the end of last season and I was expecting a big sophomore jump, but she is hardly playing for them. Is she injured or does anyone know?I’ll be very interested to see how that LSU/Washington game goes. Tina Langley can coach some dang defense. LSU might be a little flummoxed today.
Kim Mulkey knows how to put teams in position to win alot of basketball games. If you look at Kim's record, she has never had a losing season no matter what players she is working with. They will always be a threat to everyone as long as Mulkey is coaching the program.LSU just isn’t that good this season, they are ok but no threat to anyone.
Missouri is just that bad I'm afraid.Syracuse trounced Missouri today. Probably the best Syracuse has looked all season so far. Maybe Coach Jack’s rant helped?
Georgia Tech, not Georgia St. Though Georgia St did beat Georgia, who is also just that bad.Georgia St about to upset #21 Oregon. Nearly a 20 point deficit!
Nell has a good basketball mind. Auburn was always competitive when she was there and having Dwanna Bonner helped. Nell generally gets a couple really good players and builds around them and then her teams get it done on the defensive end.I'm happy for Nell Fortner that Tech has had such a great start. Nell is a super sweet person, and I'll always root for her unless her team is playing TeTennessee.

What has happened to the Oregon State program? They were a thing for about 5 years or so. The program was poor for a long time, but they were in the top 25 quite a bit during that period. They started having some sellouts and averaged around 6000 fans, which is impressive with how rural the school is. Did they lose a coach? I did think it was odd that while they were good the Lady Vols snagged three really good Oregon players in Nared, Westbrook, and Russell. Was that the beginning of their downfall? In years past this game might have been at least a bit more competitive. But OR St is not good this season … and that’s putting it lightly.
42-19 at half.
Conference realignment hit them very hard. IIRC a lot of players transferred out. Wasn’t Beers one of them? What has happened to the Oregon State program? They were a thing for about 5 years or so. They were decimated by realignment, really sad. They lost 6 of their 8 best players from last year's Elite 8 team to the portal, including Beers (Oklahoma), Hunter (TCU), von Oelhoffen (USC), Gardiner (UCLA), Hansford (Iowa St.), and Paurova (Kentucky).Conference realignment hit them very hard. Thanks for reminding me how well they did last year. I still remembered that they started sliding the two prior years (combined 10-23 in Pac-10) before rebounding last year. Nice that they kept their coach Scott Rueck during the slide given he was the one who ignited the program to rise in the first place. These days, two really poor years is enough to get most coaches fired at a school that has gotten used to being a fixture in the Top 25. They are lucky he stayed on despite the conference realignment. They were decimated by realignment, really sad.
