Dawn is not producing WNBA players like you think.. What has Dawn produced out side of Boston and Wilson. EXACTLY!!! Shes a fraud!

Ty Harris was a starter and a good role player for the Sun, Allisha Gray is a starter and WNBA All Star, Cardoso was just on the All Rookie team and currently killing teams in China, and after the overseas season Zia and Amihere are having I’m positive they both will get a lot more burn than they have their first tow years. Not to mention she has a roster currently that has a lot of draft products so I’m not sure she’s as much as a fraud as you claim her to be…

Look at the rosters...geez...Cardosa, Allisha Gray, Amihere, Beal , Boston, Wilson, Alina Coates were all first rounders...then Tiffany Mitchell, Ty Harris, Amihere, Herbert-Harrigan, Zia Cooke, Victoria Saxon, Brea Beal, Alania Coates, Destanni Henderson, Kaela Davis....In 2023 she had 3 first round picks and 5 overall. The entire SEC. all teams combined had 4 total with only 1 first round pick in 2023.....yeah you're right.....NOT!!!!!!!! These girls are playing in the WNBA...not every player is a star. Not for any team.

Well, since nobody has brought it up, I’ll mention the Watkins injury from yesterday. She left the game after 7 minutes when she apparently sustained a knee injury which she could not put any weight on. Everyone (Staley and Watkins’ dad) is being optimistic and saying it’s likely a tweak, but I need to see an official medical announcement before believing that. I hope it isn’t serious, but it sure looked bad.

I read about it heading in to TBA for our game, and I just feel for her because I cannot imagine this is how she thought this season would go. Even if it is just a tweak, having an injury like that can take some mentally to work back from. The first fall Kaniya Boyd took as a Lady Vol shook her so badly she had to leave the court, talk to a trainer, and regroup. I hesitate to call it medical PTSD without a real diagnosis, but it clearly can be traumatic for some and require real time to mentally grapple with.

So 8 of the top 10 teams are from the SEC or the B1G. Fourteen of the top 25 come from those two conferences. The ACC has 6 and the B12 has four in the top 25. The Big East has ONE.

Again, Johnson and Morrow will get theirs. Williams may as well, but they don’t have the depth or backcourt to beat UT in four quarters, imo.

This is a team that seems very overrated as a top 10...as much as UT is now in the boat of getting zero benefit of the doubt in rankings until solidly proven, LSU has the total benefit of the doubt until proven otherwise, and I'm cautiously optimistic that Thursday will be the start to them being exposed. For better or worse, Reese was their emotional motor and stat stuffer for 2 years and for them, it worked. Who has replaced her in the lineup, Wolfenbarger?? The only X factor is Mulkey being a helluva a coach, but I just don't think they have all the pieces to the puzzle or the team chemistry at all...

Clemson just beat Stanford, not in football, in WBB. Clemson. LSU needed a miracle to beat Stanford at home in OT. The UT press is going to be very difficult for that group from the Bayeaux to handle, Johnson will likely have to handle the ball way more than she would like.

The SC vs Texas matchup this Sunday should be epic, even with the knowledge that Watkins is likely out for at least this week, probably longer. SC’s home winning streak of 65 has been amazing but it will be challenged on Sunday. With Watkins out, SC will need Kitts and Feagin to play well, Oldacare is a handful. Vic thought he had finally gotten away from Staley when he jumped to Texas…..Not so fast my friend…

Wrong. Both UConn and South Carolina produce real WNBA talent. Certain unnamed agents provocateur produce naught but the stuff of fumaroles. Our colleague Rooster may well be aware of an expression endemic to Maine and PEI just across the border. It fits the comments

Mittens…😆. When you grow up in Maine and you are young, every XMAS your grandmother would knit you a pair of mittens for your present. Always anticlimactic of course while opening her present. They always had a long string attaching both mittens which they would run through the inside of your snow suit arms so you would never lose one….good memories, and we didn’t mind when we were kids. Building snow forts and having snowball wars was all that mattered when you were 5-8 yo. My grandmother loved to knit mittens with purple yarn, I never understood that. Looking back today, I suppose it was the leftover yarn.

As for the town jester’s posts seeking attention, I believe we should have some empathy for him. Wilson might be a real talent one day. That Kid Boston might be ok one day also. Ditto Gray, Mitchell etc etc etc., every site has someone that craves attention and resorts to outlandish measures in search of it, I think we should all “be there” for this guy and go gentle tbh. Henceforth, I will treat him with “kid mittens” rather than kid gloves in honor of @1reVOLver
