Dawn didn't secure a big and Tac is not the answer, or she would be playing more. Feagin, Edwards, Johnson, Paopao and Fulwiley would be my choice as starters. I'm not a coach or at practice so I am guessing there is a reason she starts who she starts. We won't make it out of the elite 8 at this juncture. There is something missing and I am sure it's Watkins absence that is the problem. There is nothing Dawn can do about that, and the portal seems to be the only out. Feagin is gone after this year so it's desperation time. Dawn has always taken the No. 3, and lower ranked players and made them really good. She has an eye for talent so who know. Dauda is a bust for sure. Oh well....back to the drawing board. The girls should be embarrassed with that loss.

I think fans have to kind of not rely so much on HS rankings anymore due to the inconsistency in ratings.
Right now in the SEC alone several of the most talented players weren’t ranked in the Top 10 out of HS such as Talaysia Cooper, Madison Booker, Flau’jae Johnson, Milaysia Fulwiley, Lazaria Spearman, Aneesah Morrow, etc. The forward from Vanderbilt as well as Jewel Spear who has played on Team USA twice weren’t highly ranked either.

I’m so glad Texas won. Terrific finish! That makes things more interesting at the top of league standings.

On the other hand, Mizzou’s total collapse in the second half? Yikes. But we all knew they were capable of doing just that. They have a very hard time maintaining confidence and intensity for two halves. Obviously the can play. They just sometimes only do it for a half. Big letdown. 😅

Vandy aka candy is a fraud.
Glorified a player scoring 53 points in a game and turn around the same season to get beat by Auburn who is a solid team but a team if you listen to people Vandy should atleast compete with and getting beat by double figures!
