Seeing this display by UCONN just shows you that I don’t think anyone is a clear favorite this year. Anyone and everyone can win on any given night, and if you’re not prepared and ready, you can and will lose.

True. Tennessee played Fudd as the weak link in Knoxville. Every player eyes lit up when they saw her guarding them.
Today that’s the player SC is letting put BTA on their homecourt.

Sc not near as strong in the post as past seasons. Fudd throwing down in a groove just a dominating performance by UConn today. National Championship is wide open this time.

Watching MIZZOU and OU and as I thought OU is struggling. MIZZOU is a quality defensive team and has some really nice shooters. They looked awful to start the season but gotta give Robin credit, she has them playing really hard still. Much better team than their record would indicate.

The CKC led Lady Vols physically outmatched UCONN in Rocky Top Tennessee!
The same UCONN that just put BTA to SC on the road!
Tennessee is back.
I hope we can match up again this year with UCONN in the NCAA tourney in an Elite 8 or Final 4 showdown.
This team still hasn’t reached it ceiling yet.
If Tennessee can continue to build chemistry and make progress the LVs are my pick to win the SEC championship.

I was thinking UConn could get the W but I was NOT expecting a beatdown.

I’ve always been on the fence on if tough losses against good teams helps or hurts, but I honestly think the losses to top competition (ND, USC, TN) really were major gut checks for these players. Put up or shut up. Today they got it done.

South Carolina is still elite. Just not 40-0 elite. And teams that have bigs and athletic guards are going to give them a run. The issues raised by UCLA aren't gone.
Also. NCAA. Stop with the early reveals. Just looks stupid with 4+ conferences games to play. Not to mention something like UCONN at South Carolina.

Dawn has to find someway to fix the rebounding losing the boards by over 20 is tough unless you shoot over 50 percent. Time to start Fulwilly and Edwards and let them have most of the minutes over Hall and Kitts. Just one game what you do from here on in is what is important.

Just said this in the game thread!
CKC is on track to accomplish a historic feat in year 1 at Tennessee.
I’ve never seen anything like this in year 1.
Physically outmatched and beat Top 5 UCONN.
Has a top 10 team and roster yet to reach its ceiling playing at a high level.
Record setting season with so many games left to play.
#1/#2 2025 High School recruiting class.
