That would be exciting if she came to the SEC, but I’d be surprised if she did. Would mean more histrionics on the sideline (I remember when she would sit on the floor during games, and pound the floor with her hand).Welp she’s taking the job! The SEC just got better!! UT better start getting recruits fast! Kim Is a heck of a coach!

If she comes, just another big name for Kellie to beat. Bring it on!
Does it really bother you? That’s why I love her. Sports need some passion and drama from the sidelines. Would take Kim stripping her blazer and screaming at the rafters over someone like Nikki McCray sitting there like a bump on a log all game.
At least her players can tell she’s invested in winning as much as they should be.
Oh, I love passion from my Coach, too. Pearl was good at that, but I don’t really think sitting on the floor and pounding on it is a mature look from my Head Coach. It’s been years since I saw her do that, so maybe she’s toned it down a bit. For me, Head Coach childish temper tantrums don’t look good.
My cousin might join her staff.Karen Aston to Texas-San Antonio
UTSA names Karen Aston head women’s basketball coach - UTSA Athletics
I guess LSU can take her off the shopping list.
I may be in the minority but I actually do! Kim has had her way in the Big 12 as there has really been no competition for her there outside of Texas (Oklahoma had a few good years and West Virginia and Iowa State have been formidable but not a real threat). She has also been known to only schedule top teams in non conference when she feels she has a team that can not be beat. I would love to see how she recruits in the SEC as well as how she schedules because the SEC slate along over the years far outweighs any schedule she has had in the Big 12 (both conference and non-conference).I honestly dont want Kim to come to the SEC lol having to compete against Dawn Staley is enough

They certainly have but the common denominator in all those factors (imo and this isn't taking anything from those players) is DiDi Richards. She is the glue that held them together and accountable. She was the vocal leader since the moment she arrived on campus. She will be hard for them to replace. Lewis is also a vocal leader but will she do that on a new team?Baylor has carved out a niche among grad transfer guards as a dream school (Chloe Jackson, Te’a Cooper, Dijonai Carrington, now Jordan Lewis). I think it’s tremendous branding and would love to see the Lady Vols do something similar with 3-point specialists. Just a thought.
