Hmmm... everyone be on the lookout for the Kim Mulkey to possibly take over at LSU... she made interesting comments about it and is also from there.
Could this be why she hasn’t been in a hurry to fill their roster needs at Baylor?
Kim is only 58 so she could easily give LSU 10 to 12 years barring anything unforseen. Would that be enough time to qualify for state retirement? Baylor is private so maybe she doesn't qualify in Texas. Don't really know.
She's angling for a raise and for building the new arena on the Brazos...not the downtown location the City of Waco is offering. If the happens the SEC is going to be an absolute dog fight. Two National Championship caliber assistants joint the league and then Mulkey? Yikes lol
She could be pulling the Walz card and angling for a raise as well.

Baylor hoping national championship has far-reaching ripple effect, from new arena to enrollment
Here’s what she has to say
Mulkey went on the Jordy Culotta show Friday leaving the door wide open, calling Louisiana her home:
"It doesn't matter where my career takes me, you always go back to your roots. My children were born in north Louisiana, my son played there at LSU. You always listen, you always are talking to people who are connected to Louisiana. I just heard this yesterday about coach Fargas leaving and not coaching. To answer your question, I had opportunities to leave Baylor, but timing in one's life is always the reason you make career decisions."
here’s the whole read

Anything is possible but if Baylor builds her (and Scott) a new state of the art arena and practice facilities what could LSU possibly offer besides a homecoming. It's not really a question of if they build the new facilities (donations are already pouring in) it's a matter of when and where. Texas opens their new arena this coming fall and Baylor will follow suit. Kim and Scott have already been promised major input into the design of the facilities.is this you also hoping she doesn’t want to come back home to Louisiana?
what’d she say? link? in intrigued now
