Geno or Gary Blair ?

Extremely unlikely in either case. Cant see Blair coaching more than another season or two so would be crazy of him to change jobs at this point. He’s 75 almost 76.

No way Geno leaves UCONN, especially not for a private Baptist college.

Hard to say how big a name they mean. My guess is Walz because he really does like to throw his hat in the ring all the time. Don’t think he has any intention of leaving Louisville though. Just likes to mess with people and keep his athletic department on their toes.

Along with his accountant.

Frese would be a big name but she would not be a surprise as that rumor has been floating since mulkey departed.

Only one question. Why?

This is NOT the way to grow women’s basketball. This is a great way to invite thousands upon thousands of men make sexist jokes. Physically she cannot compete with men. That’s factual. So either they’ll play down to her and make it a joke or they’ll play her honest and she’ll look like a kid at the playground getting picked on by the older/bigger kids.

Women’s basketball does not need to cabbage onto men’s basketball to grow. This is not good for the sport. Dunk contest? Sure. 3 point shooting contest? Sure.

But an actual all star game against men/boys is a terrible idea.

You know that. I know that. But there's many in society who would accuse you of a bunch of -isms for suggesting that the girls would not be able to hang with the boys.

If the boys played her like they play each other, she would get humiliated. My guess is that it will be kind of like the "dunks" that happen in WNBA all start games where the defense clears the lane and lets a player go for an uncontested dunk so that the media can report that the WNBA all star games featured some amazing dunks. So...expect it to look like end of blowout games where the walk-on comes on the court and they try to set them up to hit threes while lightly guarded.

So yeah. Bad idea. REALLY bad idea.

None of those two. The big name they might be going after is Frese of Maryland. They also may be into the Michigan coach even though she is not a big name.

Both of them are similar to Kim in a lot of ways. Makes sense but also a little odd considering they didn’t seem to appreciate Kim’s strong personality lol

It’s almost like a room full of men have a problem when a strong woman walks in, becomes successful, and dares to share her opinions.

But other men with similar dispositions? What great leaders they are!
