I thought I was the only one to notice that, but she was very unaggressive. I didn't see the box score yet but I think she only took 2 shots (2-2, 5 pts). Her mom was in the stands so I'm sure she will critique the performance. PaoPao and Betts looked very good, next year twin towers for Stanford as well as SC.
My thoughts after watching Verhulst and Citron players ranked 7 and 16 have nothing on Sarah Puckett. Puckett is just as good an offensive player and a stronger more physical player on defense. If Hoopgurlz thinks Puckett is number 43 they are going to have to lower the rankings on these two players as neither is a better player than Puckett.
Check out some HS talent gathered for a local high school day camp. Lots of recognizable names, some others to watch like 8th grader Skyla Tuthill …..Watkins, Fulwiley, a Ky committ, a GT committ and more..
Also think Striplin matches up well with Wade and Deberry as a post player. Betts is in a league of her own she is going to be hard to handle even as a freshman. Wolfenbarger has a terrific basketball body lot of length and will eventually be a terrific player. What I am seeing of her now is very timid player and a lot of standing and watching when she is in the game.
Other players Paopao is amazing point guard can shoot and pass the entire package. Fudd not enough information based on these games didn't play in any of the Spain exhibitions and wasn't allowed to be totally involved in the play when she was in the game yesterday. She did hit two of 3 shots she took from the field.
All the college players Paopao, Spear, Johnson, and Clark are showing their how their previous college experience has propelled them to go to players on this team. Nothing like NCAA college experience to separate you from the non college players. Betts thus far is the only non college player that has played on their level.
This looked like it was going to be a good game until Clark hit about 6 threes in about five minutes from long distance. She misses half of them you got a game. Right now 52 to 35 USA.
