They should have been unbeatable last year in the SEC and still lost 2 games. Anyone in the SEC can lose on any given night if they don't play their best basketball. SEC championships come down to consistency every day!
3 great teams, however, Standford lost its backcourt, and animosity among the players on teams like South Carolina and Connecticut could be detrimental. Should be a good season for sure.Eh, idk….they’ve reloaded TREMENDOUSLY! That new class AND Cardosa will make them TOUGHER than last year.
I have faith in our girls though! Next year should be exciting but I have a feeling it’s South Carolina, Connecticut, Stanford and everyone else.
Right, and with a team with that much talent, they should have never lost to an inexperienced Uconn team, or 2 games in the SEC. Anything can happen on any given night. Hell, had Tennessee not blown it with their games against Georgia, we would have tied South Carolina for the second place or had the lady vols played both halves of the Texas A&M and not blown the Georgia games we would have won the league title. Weren't we picked to finish 7th last year and the year before. Its only a matter of time. J.S.I mean they did still win the Tournament outright and won the last 6 of 7 championships…
Uconn wasn't inexperienced in comparison to South Carolina.Right, and with a team with that much talent, they should have never lost to an inexperienced Uconn team, or 2 games in the SEC. those 2 losses by less then to 2 points to UGA still angers me the fact we could have won a SEC Title in year 2 with KJH is amazingRight, and with a team with that much talent, they should have never lost to an inexperienced Uconn team, or 2 games in the SEC. The way your post is written, it states that there IS animosity among the players on teams like South Carolina and Connecticut, and it COULD be detrimental.3 great teams, however, Standford lost its backcourt, and animosity among the players on teams like South Carolina and Connecticut could be detrimental. South Carolina also had one senior on their whole team and one of UConn's juniors was a 4th year player. It was pretty much juniors and freshmen versus juniors and sophomores.Uconn had 5 freshman, 2 sophomores and 3 juniors last year. South Carolina only had one freshman on their whole team. South Carolina was much more experienced than Uconn. Not to mention, 3 of Uconns freshmen played huge minutes.
The UConn team is one of the closest groups ever at the school. The seem sincerely focused on one goal and that is never to play a game like they played against Az. again. They were absolutely embarrassed by their flat unenthusiastic approach and it has hurt them deeply. Mama E has a new batch of kids and in now Granny E.3 great teams, however, Standford lost its backcourt, and animosity among the players on teams like South Carolina and Connecticut could be detrimental. On any given day, teams like MD., Louisville, NCSU, Oregon, Oregon State, Mich, Iowa, Ind, ND, Az, UCLA, aTm, Texas and several others can beat anyone. The sport is very competitive. So many teams that can put two or three go to players on the floor. If in a tourney they have a great game then their team can win against anybody. Of course SC, Stanford, and UConn will be the three favorites as well based on their talent they should be. You still have to be aware of several other teams where a player can get hot and carry them to victory. We seen it last season.

It's "Granny E" for Azzi and from what I hear not too much. Granny E's experiencing her first healthy summer in years and had a great summer session. She knows she is going to lose minutes not only to Azzi but it looks like there will be 6 players in rotation for the 3 guard/wing spots (last year E got most of her minutes as a de facto 4 but not this year). The players are all agreed that minutes aren't the point. The goal is the team winning a Natty. Besides you don't think only needing a healthy E for 15 to 20 minutes a night is a bad situation, do you?Didn't they say that about Ms St, ND, Az. This isn't a knock at all. It just shows the parity of the game and that's good thing honestly! As fans we may not like it but things like that help grow the game.
I wonder how much of Mama "E" time Azzi will eat up.
