Was amazing how much better Middleton played at Iowa State than she did at Tennessee. Seems every player got better after they left Tennessee.

Middleton was a poor defensive player. Someone once commented here . “ she could not guard an anvil “. Holly made her play man to man defense ! She does better playing in a zone . Her last year of playing she did not HOT DOG so much…. At Tennessee she could have made simple plays but would shoot a lay up while doing a double nut clutcher with a full twist , and dribble behind her back while completing a triple Saluki spin move !!!! She was a decent three point shooter but everyone knows Holly did not want that kind of shot ! Glad she had a good senior year .

It takes 12 of the those to make one 6’ guard. Sadly, we can only play five at a time.
But our bench, with seven more 6” guards, will strike fear into the hearts of our opponents! We can put on a full court press, sub bench guards in if we get in foul trouble, and tie all those SC giants' shoelaces together.

But your 6" bench guards would all be tired out trying to climb up onto the bench.......

But your guards have to be able to take care of the ball, and make the occasional 3 pt shot. A less than .31% 3 pt% and less that 1:1 A/TO ratio kinda' cancels any height advantage.

The height advantage of the Nac Mac Feegle is beyond dispute. Just ask Terry Pratchett.
Our 6” guards make threes from 3 ft. or even less! A rare skill these days…

Not to be a shining white knight but didn't she drastically reduce her turnovers last year ?

I also hope her foot AND back issues are behind her. I saw where her mom posted she had major issues but played thru them.
