I agree, I like the way next year's roster appears to shape up. The year after that looks murky, but there are two recruiting/portal cycles between now and then. Lots ot time. I bet there will be lots of terrific players in the portal when they find out they had to sit their freshman year and didn't like it much. Most of the class of 22 was recruited virtually, and relationships formed may not be that strong. Given how loaded teams like SC are, I wouldn't be surprised to see a few jumping ship.

Geno really wanted her. The UCLA thing came out of left field for most of us. We figured it was between Stanford and UConn with Kara a dark horse. She could have walked into a starting role as Christyn Williams graduates. He wanted a guard to go with his 22 post and wing and he needs a point guard because he prefers Paige to play off ball. He's going big after Williams and Shade in 23. It looks like he has 5 targets in 23 and would like to get 3 of them.

Sigh, this just won’t die.

Geno didn’t do anything different than he does with any other top recruit he is going after. I disagreed with your “turning up the heat” assessment. And I still do. Did he all of a sudden do more because he suddenly realized he wanted her more than before? Doubtful.

I never disagreed that he was seriously recruiting her big time.

AGAIN, he started recruiting her extra hard when he thought he was in the mix with another school. Made extra visits (even as of the last couple of weeks) and we all know uconn doesn't do that for all their players because of who they are. It's because he wasn't in the mix and then he was so it only makes sense he went back and recruited harder🙄

So believe what you want but yes "turning up the heat" happened. Now you can go back to trolling per usual. Sorry my information that even another Uconn fan confirmed was actually correct 😥

PS. Feel free to never quote or comment on anything i say again or even go on that long sabbatical you took form volnation. Good times those were!

Because we all know Geno never loses a recruit he wants to another school. He backs off and decides they didn't fit his program. He went after Collier with everything he had and more and she went to Texas so losing this recruit is nothing new it has happened in the past. You don't win every recruiting battle no matter how much your narcissist fans won't to pound that point.
