I will make the conn fans happy, I think they might go undefeated in the regular season, maybe one loss. I think Geno still does not win it all though, conn has lost the mystique, it’s been what, 5-6 years?

Idk NC State has a squad as well. I think it’s gonna be a dog fight like last season. I think NC State is the more talented team on the perimeter and Cunane can hold her own. Especially is she’s back to 100%. She was a little banged up last season then had COVID and was a little slow after her return.

Yeah, the Wolfpack can shoot the 3 really well, they averaged 7 per game last year. State is a formidable opponent, esp on their court.

Sad to hear it. Have always loved and respected her. One does wonder if it’s not time to retire? I admire the fight though!!

Coach Stringer has paid her dues, almost 1,500 games and has won over 1,000. She is a true legend! What she’s done for black women in the game is incomparable. I always looked up to her for being a representation of her players on the floor. Someone they could truly look at and see themselves reflected. It’s beautiful to see so many black women in head coaching roles now. C. Vivian Stringer walked so they could run

Agreed. I'm sure she has more than enough to retire but she does take care of her handicapped daughter so i wonder if that plays into it? No clue, I believe she loves those young ladies she coaches and leaving them would be hard.

I’m sure it’s a complex situation. Wouldn’t be the first time someone has needed to retain their job for the insurance. It may be subsidizing her care well.

To me it’s looking a lot like Middle Tennessee + Jackson but I think MTSU has the better coach.

They are overloaded with 5'6=5'9 guards. She'd be lucky to see the court this year.

The program is also a mess. I don't blame her for not wanting to stick around.

Tennessee could use her a lot more than MSST could, definitely. I think her final decision was between MSST and Tennessee. She would be a great pickup for the LVs, for sure. Great outside shooter.

Carter being a dumbass changed things for MSST. They were dangerous with her; without her, they are destined for the bottom 1/3 of the standings no matter what Anastasia and Rickea do.

I'm embarrassed to admit I don't pray nearly as often as I know I should, but I feel like Coach Stringer has earned some positive vibes from me and will gladly send them out. Love you, CViv!!!!!
