I agree with you that you can't have 1 player do it all. I think that kind of ties into why UConn hasn't won anything since Stewie left. They haven't had a "big" that fits the mold of how he's successfully used them in the past, and their inability to recruit one has hurt them. ONO was the best that they could get, and she's not a true physical inside player in addition to not being all that good to begin with. Shea has been part of that drought as well, so while she was an important part of their success, I don't think she was indispensable.

All recruits look better in HS, except maybe Rhyne Howard. I don't think she's going to be a dominating player at her next stop, but if it's the right school where she can fill a void, she can have a solid college career.

UT women's basketball SOS is #7 on warrennolan. With Stanford next, will be a top 5 SOS thus far. Take a look around the country. LSU North Carolina Duke Nebraska haven't played tough schedules. Much, much worse than UT. Ole Miss SOS is 226. Do more research UT schedule is just fine. And Kellie will I am sure toughen it up going forward.

USF is 16th in the new poll. When UCONN was beating them they weren't top 15 to 20. This season has shown a lot of parity and to be honest some odd upsets and scores. Your narrative is getting old. Try something else.

Whats the deal with McClean? I missed all those posts thanks to PG1 complaining about our schedule in every thread on the board 🙄

She won’t be the last in the portal this season. Reading the article on SB nation it’s no wonder. Geno openly discuss essentially psychologically abusing young women in the name of making them better.

Let’s think about it this way, how many of his former players have gone on to do great things as people? You don’t make strong women breaking them down. You make them building them up.

And, for the record, Mir is a player I would love to see at TENNESSEE. I’ve said that about several transfer because it’s true. But Mir is an athlete and a rebounder. Idk why he’s worried about her offensive skill set. She can score double digits on put backs and transition layups. I’d have her in a heartbeat. Sad she’s been kept on the bench in the name of….who knows?

He played Debarry in the last couple games. Not shocking to see Mir throw her name in after that. Debarry is no better and less athletic.

Whose? UCONNS? We know you don't mean the Lady Vols because they aren't your team no matter how much you try to fool people. Proof is in the pudding. I am fine with fans from other teams being on the board but I'm sick and tired of the ones that pretend to be Lady Vol fans just to try and take shots at the staff and the team.

Just stop responding please. He’s running the thread and it’s just nuts. Have had that poster ignored for years. Always has some obtuse opinion that makes NO sense lol. We won’t change his/her mind but we can all ignore them into oblivion.

PG1 needs to find a new team. UCONN might be a good bet. He can enjoy them losing to all their very tough non-con opponents. Based on their narrative that should please them.

I know it's too late to keep you from making a fool of yourself but before you bore us with more of your "Lady Vol Schedule Stinks" posts, have you bothered to look at the schedules Pat played? You will see more of those unworthy teams you dislike so much.

How far back do you want to go? For many years there were just not that many good teams at all. She did not have much of a choice. Back then playing La Tech and ODU was a tough schedule. I am sure she would have challenged her team more if WBB would have been better.

I think Maya Moore would qualify.
Has any former wcbb player done anything greater outside of basketball ?
To deny obvious facts is delusional. I understand not liking uconn but criticism should be based in reality. We can do better than that as a fan base.

I would def take Mir in a LV uniform but I’m thinking Brenda frese already started her illegal recruiting with Mir.

Would not be shocked. The NCAA is going to crack down on that ish. Coaches have been complaining that they have student athletes coming to them being actively recruited in season. Can’t happen like that.

I think Maryland would be an awful choice for her as well. She may end up in a similar position there. Brenda keeps her rotation very tight and has lots of girls not seeing the floor at the moment.

If you can keep up on defense you’re going to get minutes with Coach Harper…

Turner-Thorne. Wouldn’t go into specifics but I’m guessing she’s reported it. Have heard other coaches mention it in news articles. It’s not a secret that it’s happening. It’s difficult to police with the way everyone is connected on social media these days.
