We need to identify these fake fans and block them for good. One wrote me in our fb lady vols group cursing me out, called me idiot just because i agreed when fans said that Geno can't win if it's not top recruits. I can't imagine myself in another fan site faking it...Dosen't make sense.

The best way to discourage people who are trying to stir things up is to ignore them completely. They thrive on people constantly referencing them, and it just stokes them up for their next provocative comment. By the way, my comment in no way is directed at you Sisaq. It is hard to ignore them, and they up the ante when they don't get their wish for attention fulfilled. I just think we need to treat them like we do toddlers having a tantrum.

UConn's Bueckers has surgery, eyes Feb. return

A couple of things here...

So i wonder if rehab wasn't enough with treatment? Now the Uconn players know she isn't coming back for at least 8 weeks. So they can get into their new roles. The thing is incorporating Azzi and Muhl back in whenever they return so it will be another shift. I was looking forward to playing them healthy but counting 8 weeks forward that puts our game right about the 8 week mark. It would be the sunday before the monday of the 8 week mark. I'm sure she might also be on minute restrictions along with rust. This is all to say I am interested in tracking her progress and if she takes the 8 weeks (which honestly seems hopeful but who knows) about 3 weeks before the big east tourney and probably about 5 weeks to get ready for NCAA play. Plenty of time to get back into some sort of playing shape.

C'mon now...we don't know anything about when this tear happened. Could've been with the injury in the ND game. There was no mention of her ever having any knee issues prior to this injury. Perhaps it was always a possibility, and the surgical team was prepared to correct it? I know how much we all love to hate Geno..but this banter is just making everyone look silly.

Don’t pretend to be a UT fan. You’re clearly a UCONN troll. The disclosure literally said it was a pre-existing, previously undisclosed tear. Which means she’s been playing on it, and that’s the point.

From the Hartford Courant article.

"The operation repaired the anterior tibial plateau fracture and a previously unannounced lateral meniscus tear that Bueckers sustained during UConn’s win against Notre Dame on Dec. 5."

The fracture and the tear happened at the same time.

Duke’s first real test so far this year….should tell us a lot about them. Good coach….bunch of new transfers that look like they can play. I went on a limb at start of season and picked Duke to challenge for the ACC. Tonight we find out if Duke can compete against bigger teams.

Really encouraging that several teams we have beaten have gone on to play well. Hope they continue to do so.

I don’t see that UCF is in action today. Looks like they play again Saturday against Iowa. A game I think is very winnable for them. Iowa tends to have trouble when they hit a really tough defensive team.

Yes they are not playing tonight looked at the wrong schedule.

I’m excited to watch. Do believe it will be a 15-20 pt victory for you all. Suspect Duke will have problems guarding inside. Just not enough size. Also won’t be able to score much in the paint. Dodson (edit: Dodson is at ND, my B) is athletic but she cannot score over either Boston or Cardoso.

Duke will need to hit at least 12 3 to make it a good game is my take.

Luna, your UConn girl may never be the same again....A little bondo and crazy glue will help, but the damage has been done....Just the way it is.
