Not surprised about Davis. She was pushed further down the rotation, and there were better options that Neighbors was turning to. Surprised to hear your take on Ramirez. It seems that she has been a good fit for them the last few years and a big part of their gameplan.idk. I think Arkansas is having a bunch of players not getting along. They have had trouble with that before. Ramirez was part of the issue. Mid season transfer of Marquesha Davis and then those two missing raises some questions.
Creighton is going to drop 45 on them in the first half. Playing really uninspired right now. Daniels picked up two fouls early so that hurt them. 9 turnovers in the first half which is as many they usually have in a game.

As far as the missing players, I did see this in a writeup:
"Arkansas has won four in a row, but have dealt with some injuries recently. Post players Erynn Barnum, the team's leading rebounder, and 6-3 freshman Emrie Ellis have missed the last three games, while Amber Ramirez missed Saturday."
Good win for Ole Miss 61-53 winner over USF. Will be interesting to see how the box score looks.
Arkansas gets Ole Miss next. That's a game I'd like to watch!
The majority of those games look like non conference games.
I think we're about to see a TON more cancellations or the entire NCAA season go on pause after players go home for the holidays and return to campus. Omicron is just so contagious; I don't see how the season is going to continue.

Contagious but not harmful to young people. There must be some rational basis for policy. For example, do we cancel games because someone on one of the teams has a cold? Why not?
The metric that should be followed is hospitalizations rather than infections. If hospitals are starting to overflow with covid patients, take action. If more people are being infected, but without serious symptoms, then let's get on with life.I agree. Aren't we at critical mass with vaccinations? If the vaccine is controlling symptoms even if transmission occurs, why the continued paranoia? At some point, life has to just go on. We're going on 2 years with this already. We can't hide in a bubble forever.
That's what I implied with my reference to severity of symptoms. If they are mostly asymptomatic, there's no need for hospitalization. The metric that should be followed is hospitalizations rather than infections. The United Kingdom could be a guide, as far as what action to take. They saw the Omicron wave hit weeks before us. It should give us a good idea of what direction to take.

There needs to be one. Stop everything as is for 3 weeks and push the season back 3 weeks. No cancellations just postpone everything. March Madness can be April Madness.I wouldn't be at all surprised if there was a temporary halt to college sports after New Years.
Many colleges have already returned to virtual instructions.
It doesn't look good.
