Did you see me LOL anywhere on my post? I actually understand having our best player out and being nervous... While many Uconn fans will and have said Rae Burrell is no Paige Bueckers it still stands she was our best player and we were just able to overcome it.


Again, i didn't laugh nor would i laugh at the plight or injuries of a player. Do i feel bad for you? H3!! No you guys have played after player that can be developed it sucks for sure but if done right your coach could put your players in a position where they all step up much like you see the growth in caroline.

Imagine THIS season being in the top 10 despite the losses being the most painful season. Ours is the season where OUR coach announced she would be retiring due to the fact she had Alzheimer's... Knowing whatever game when the buzzer sounded was her last. Period!! So you wanna trade most painful seasons if not why don't you take some of the bite of your post and remember where you are!

Have a good day and hope y'all heal soon despite the continual belief that all volnation is out to get yall. No some of aren't out to get you and in reality we are enjoying our team with chemistry that actually like each other. Hope you at some point can say the same

It’s going to surprise people, but it’s Brittany Griner.

Yes, she’s a college, WNBA and Olympic champion. She’s a WNBA all-star. She has had moments of dazzling dominance beginning in high school to now. She made our Lady Vols look silly trying to score on her.

I concede all that.

But despite having more physical gifts than any female player ever, as good as she has been I still feel like she has underperformed. She has a wingspan greater than Wilt Chamberlain’s! She can easily dunk! She’s got game!

IMO, she should be putting up Wilt Chamberlain numbers every game. Instead, I’m too often underwhelmed when watching her. She even looks lazy and disinterested to me sometimes.

Is it just me???

That goes back to Baylor.

Sendona Prince is the. Biggest waste for a player of her size and talent I’ve ever size. With her size, athleticism and shooting touch she should be the best player in the country.

She is so timid on both ends though. Constantly fades away on offense. Why? You’re 6’7”!!!!!! Just why?

Then on defense she barely rebounds and gives up layups she could easily block with no contact. Just my two cents after the first few minutes of the UCONN game.

it’s not just you!!! Have always thought the same. Especially on the boards and developing an outside shot. BG has a nice looking shot but never did develop much range. She’s lazy on the glass and doesn’t like defense.

Her best playing days were at Baylor where someone held her accountable. Have never been impressed with her in the W or international play. At her size and athelticism she could be absolutely dominant.

I mean, imagine if Sylvia Fowles had that build!?!?

Ducks had a 20 point lead a couple of times in that game.

The final score does not indicate how bad Geno's Huskies got beat.

It was a comment overall not just based on the game. She played average as usual. UCONN has zero players that can guard her and she was still passive. Shot the ball well but should have had double the rebounds she had.

I often think about how opposing fans dumped all over Tennessee during the lowest of the low times, and how they discounted how big a loss the program had suffered on the way.

As far as CONN fans doing the "poor me" routine, they evidently are so spoiled that they can't appreciate the luxury of being able to bring in a rarely-used freshman as a replacement who then averages 16 points a game (scored 22 against Oregon).

the GA starters played most of this game. They have another away game Thursday against MS St then us on Sunday. Our guards are taller than Mizzus post lol

They don't look to be pressing as much this year. I told people when Gabby Connally left it was not gonna allow Morrison to do al the stuff she did last year. She is still a very good player but she has a different role.

I think it will be a good game. Especially if TK can give us some minutes if not we gotta get out and run

Gosh not me. I really think we pick up another nice road win Sunday. Anytime this team has had an opportunity to practice they have come back even better.

I think we will see a team that handles pressure better Sunday. Have to believe that’s going to be a recurring theme in practice this week.

LSU is the one that’s making me really nervous. Their guards are just our nightmare. They are fast, great defenders, can shoot the mid-range and Pointer and Morris can shoot the 3. We’ve gotta hope we have Burrell back for near 40 in that game because I don’t think there is anyone Tess can guard 1-1 at all.

The UGA guards do not frighten me nearly as much as last season. Coombs is mediocre and not an offensive threat. Morrison is a quality all round player but cannot beat us alone. Barker is not athletic enough to affect the game much against us. Her game will look a lot like poor Robyn Benton’s did yesterday.

I keep saying it as well. Just not the same thing without Connally and Caldwell. Both were great defenders. Their defense allowed Morrison to gamble a lot more. Barker and Coombs don’t have the sauce.
