Not a chance. Amari is the most skilled post recruit Geno has ever recruited. She knows her situation. She fell behind with injuries at the beginning and was slow to pick up. I'm going to post a video don't watch the video just check Amari in the still. But that is Amari Deberry. Does she look like she's not a part of the team.I can see DeBerry or Piath transferring, but not any of their important players.

Nest season will have to take care of itself. Right now we are going to need a team of psychiatrists to treat our schizophrenia.Definitely wishful thinking that she transfer.. they’re going to be very very good next season with Ducharme getting all the experience she has along with Paige and Fudd.. and Griffin/Edwards/DeBerry and the incomers… Sheesh; I’m sure they all understand the current situation

I am still picking UConn to make the final four if everyone is back and healthy even without Bueckers. This season it’s the injuries. Until they get some SEMBLANCE of consistency in who’s practicing/playing it’ll be hard to truly get chemistry… Fudd goes out, Paige goes down, Ducharme was the star now she’s been out, no ONO today.. I’m a fair fan.. this team is great but even if they become healthy soon.. there’s a lot of on court chemistry to be built that hasn’t so it’s still up in the air on how far they go and how much they can do.. similar to a team like Oregon.. they could magically be healthy for a good 4 weeks and light it up in postseason but a lot would have to **click** and happen health wise for it to happen and it seems to be trending that way
Actually Amb,Guess this means that Sania Feagin will play more. I wonder if she'll pull a Fudd/Ducharme and be all gangbusters?
She looks good on offense, but not sure if she's a strong defensive player. Guess we'll find out!
The only two number one seeds they would have no chance in my opinion are South Carolina and Stanford. They almost beat Louisville will two less players than they have now and think they would be a huge challenge for NC State in Bridgeport. The key for them is Bridgeport they will be able to play well in that region.I am still picking UConn to make the final four if everyone is back and healthy even without Bueckers.
I didn't realize both of them were out for that game. The fact you still dominated the glass is pretty impressive.Actually Amb,
both Amihere and Cardosa were out vs LSU earlier this year and SC still out rebounded the Tigers by over 20. But yeah, I would expect Feagin to see some meaningful minutes and also Saxton to play some 5.
After last night's loss, I can't see them in Bridgeport. Definitely a "no" if they don't beat DePaul tomorrow. The only two number one seeds they would have no chance in my opinion are South Carolina and Stanford. Villanova found the perfect date to play Uconn while they were still gloating over the Tennessee win. They matched UConn shooting the ball and outrebounded them by 18. Your talking about a Villanova team that lost to Creighton by 14 of whom Uconn beat by 20. You have to come to play every night. Anyone that thinks parity has not come to women's basketball almost to the point of the men's game is delusional.
They definitely were and we have looked a little weary in the last several games. I think the same thing happened last season. They get pumped up there for Orange we didn't match their intensity or guard the three point line or anywhere really. We either get back to it defensively or were going to lose more games of what we have left. If you can't shoot you have to defend.Still think UCONN was very lucky to have had that Butler game cancelled. I find it a bit suspicious honestly. Geno knew they’d have to have fresh legs for the rebounds and we have been getting the crap beat out of us (literally) in the SEC. I don’t just mean the losses, teams in the SEC are brutal and physical. It takes a toll you don’t see in the Big Easy.
Not making excuses for our poor play, but find the timing of their postponements this season incredibly suspicious. They don’t seem to have any trouble keeping games against really crappy teams. But anytime they have been having an issue and had a good opponent coming up they magically had a postponement in their favor.
Don’t hold your breath for the DePaul game to happen this week….
Butler was the one who cancelled, not UConn. Are you thinking that they were pressured by BEast or UConn to cancel?Still think UCONN was very lucky to have had that Butler game cancelled. Just looked up the reason for the cancellation. They couldn't travel due to the weather. There was a major snow storm that hit the midwest all the way to the coast, so it seems their cancellation was legit.I wouldn’t be at all shocked if Geno made a “hey Buddy” call and asked them to postpone.
Just don’t trust him and wouldn’t put it past him. Not for a minute.
