The fact that they are 50-50 in the SEC is a remarkable achievement in itself. He knows the only way to win is to shoot, and he's getting the most out of what he has to work with...which is admittedly not much. UK has most of their injured players back and is not the same team that was beaten by the likes of Vanderbilt.

If they don't make Novak permanent coach, I can see them hiring another waste of money like NMP and just starting over from ground zero again next season. At least he's giving them some momentum and getting the crowd back into it.

The clarion ledger had an article yesterday where John Cohen the AD said Novak was in the running but since Mstate is a national program they may go that direction. I SAY they are no longer a national program and will never be any more!

Hahahaha! I'm sorry, said I wouldn"t respond to Emmy Nominee The GreatPretender, but hilarious to see them trashing Texas coached by Big Name Vic and praising OK coached by Mid-Major Jennie. I mean, can the back-pedaling, code-switching, and reverse engineering be any more transparent?

Either this is just some really weird let's-see-what-it-takes-to-trigger-people trolling or somebody gets paid for generating clickbait. It is sort of funny, sort of sad, and sort of puzzling.

Makes you want to cuddle them and croon "My Funny 💝" in a soothing tone to heal wounded psyches.

Which, I guess, is more humane than unleashing upon them our very own Jack Reacher...AKA Game Time. 💣

You can always pick your stats to make it sound the worst possible way, as anyone can do about anything. Funny how you didn't say that even before Texas smeared Iowa State they were a projected #4 seed in the NCAA and Iowa State a projected #2 seed, so this game may have them rising to a #3 seed. Guess that didn't sound quite as demeaning as your stat, huh?

Absolutely, just like you can easily cherry pick the top teams in the conference to call "way overrated" while stopping short of the team behind them because... well, ya know.

She's just going through some sets very slowly to get acclimated to the flow. Paige is still wearing a brace, but not participating in the regular practice. I don't see her coming back for at least 3 weeks, but what do I know. Not much. We are more concerned with the progress of Ducharme and ONO at this point. Azzi has said that her foot is bothering her a little, but good enough to play. Don't like the sound of that, it's been a crazy year, not knowing who will play on a game-to-game basis.

I thought it was Muhl that said that?? If I remember correctly Azzi just got an article written on her from the Athletic that says she’s finally healthy. Anyways I think they’ve adjusted well to not having Paige so I do hope she isn’t rushed. Good luck to her as she makes her way back to the court.

I apologize, you are right. Since Nikas been back, she has been playing 35-40 minutes a game. With Nika playing the point, nobody has to play out of position, so the transition back to Paige will not change the flow of the offence. Still, we really need her, as the minutes for Paige will be monitored when she is ready to play. Nika doesn't score much, but her value is running the team, and a good point guard is hard to find.

Oklahoma is another projected number 2 seed that got beat by 8th place Texas Tech (3-10 Big 12) at their place. More movement to come this upcoming week. IF we can finish strong, that number 2 seed is not out of reach. If we can knock off South Carolina and that is a big if, we can still get a number 1. Must win everything else plus a matchup with LSU to get there though.

That was a very bad loss for OU. No way they get a 2 seed after that. Losing to a sub .500 team at home wasn’t good for them.

They are going to have to find some semblance of a defense or they are going to struggle as teams figure them out offensively.

Texas Tech has been tough off and on. They have some good players but a lot of them have been in and out of the lineup off and on. They could be dangerous down the stretch and in the Big 12 tournament.
