Greenville has turned into a resort city. Downtown is gorgeous and much nicer than those other two cities. It's 100 miles from Columbia.

So that is supposed to make it fair to hold it there every year? I mean teams like Texas A&M or LSU might like to see it held close to their schools once in a while.

Looks like Kentucky. Florida, and Texas and other have some catching up to do to everybody. Never should be held in the same venue three years in a row and every team in the SEC should have the opportunity to be the host in their state that wants to do so.

Not to benefit Tennessee to benefit all other SEC teams. I wouldn't care if they don't hold it in Tennessee again as long as they make it a round robin of all the SEC schools that have a venue that wants to host.

Where were your complaints and calls for justice the 17 times it was held in Tenn? There have been 42 SEC WBB tournaments, 17 in Tenn and 13 in Ga. That is 30 out of 42.
Nobody bitched about it then, it was taken for granted UT was the kingpin of WBB and everyone knew Tenn would get the tourney most years. So now it's an issue....wonder why, I'm sorry, but there is some sideway hypocrisy going on here.

You tell me why you think this is the time for a UT fan to start claiming unfair, I will hang up and listen.

P.S.: I see you have only been on this site for 2 years so if you were bitching about how "unfair" it was when Tenn was getting all those past SEC tournaments (please) nobody would have seen it anyway...

Knoxville to Greenville: 2 hours 54 minutes
Columbia to Greenville: 1hour 40 minutes
Knoxville to Nashville: 2 hours 42 minutes
Columbia to Nashville: 6 hours 54 minutes

How you know nobody bitched then a lot of us might not have even been aware of any of this. Just because something happened in the past does not mean it should be repeated in the future. I'm not clamoring for it to be held in Tennessee until every other school has equal right to it. Some schools have never had one close by they are the ones that should be yelling the loudest. No the SEC office doesn't know what they are doing never have what makes you think that they ever have.

The SEC will take fan following and team strength into account. No point scheduling it in an arena where fans don't even support local teams leave alone distant ones.

NCAA Softball is even worse. The National Championship games are Always held in Oklahoma, and Oklahoma usually wins it. Always, forever, eternally, in perpetuity, you get the idea, and this covers teams in the whole country, ridiculous!

Is there a bidding process? Are there places in Texas and Missouri who want to host? If you don't know the process you can't say if it is wrong or right. Who wants to play in an empty arena for a championship? If these areas want to host, they need to support their teams throughout the season.
