This is exactly what I talk about when it comes to bias. Clark is a good player who scores a lot of points....because they "need" her to score a lot of points. She is not a great defensive player. Boston doesn't "need" to score 30 points a game and she plays excellent defense. She is superior as an all around player and is always the most impactful player on the floor in every game she plays. Boston "is" the most deserving player !I would love to see Clark win POY also because without her Iowa is very weak .500 team. I know that she won't get it because the most deserving player never does.
No she is not the most deserving unless you are a biased SC fan. Clark's scoring average is far higher, she is much higher in assists, and not much lower in rebounds. She leads in more categories than Boston does. So you come over here talking about bias since it seems you are exactly the one who is.This is exactly what I talk about when it comes to bias. I wonder how many points per game Boston would score if she was a volume shooter? But that's not her role on a more balanced scoring team where she doesn't play comparative minutes. Also her intimidation factor on offense and defense is unmeasurable.
Have you watched Clark play in a game? I’m not sure there is a more whiny player in WBB, she is a great player, beyond great actually, but I will say this: if we are in a pickup game and choosing teams, I’m taking PB first as almost any knowledgeable fan would, that pretty much sums up who is the best. And I am no UConn fan as you all know.Don’t know about others, but for me:
She’s a drama queen on the court, she constantly seeks the limelight and camera shots and holds onto it as long as possible, even to hold up a game so we can see how upset she is over a call.
Even when she’s not playing, cameras show her on the sideline, so we can see her reactions.
ESPN makes sure her picture is on their site daily, so I’m literally sick of seeing her face.
Perhaps you meant "immeasurable" rather than "unmeasureable". Your use of unmeasureable adds nothing to bolster your argument of Boston's value to the team.I wonder how many points per game Boston would score if she was a volume shooter? The question wasn’t who is the best, the question was what do you not like about PB, which I mostly answered. It had nothing at all to do with Clark, the proven best basketball player.Have you watched Clark play in a game? She is the best offensive force in WBB based upon many measures, scoring average etc, but also on a team that lets and needs her to volume shoot a ton. But offense is half the game and I dare say she is well below average on defense tbh.The question wasn’t who is the best, the question was what do you not like about PB, which I mostly answered.
