Non-Lady Vol Basketball News 2024-25

They have a good chance of winning it this year, and will likely be the favorites to win it for the next two seasons after this one, so I wouldn't place any large bets against that happening if I were you.

P.S. This sums up my personal feelings about what I just typed: 🤢🤮

I believe longtime Lady Vols fans have been traumatized by UCONN. The unstoppable teams are in the past. Who will be the UCONN center next year? If I had the money, I’d take the field this year and next year.

Juhasz, and Edwards is coming along very well for them from what I've seen. Plus, they usually have a couple of the top 5 newcomers every year, so ... ugh.

SC and Stanford will likely be favorites ahead of UConn this season and next. The season after Boston and Jones graduate will be an interesting one, depending on how all three of their freshman classes this season and next develop.

Yea UCONN hasn’t won a title since 2016 but fans act like they’re the 4-time defending champs. What gives?

Even if it was all of the above, does the "crime" of having extra-potent vaping oil merit the punishment of months in prison under what are likely abysmal conditions? Personally, I don't think so. I wish people could have more empathy for her in this situation. Is she probably kinda dumb? Yep. I feel sorry for her that she was that dumb, but from all I've read about her she's a sweetheart.
At the same time, I'm all for countries having the autonomy to govern their own lands, as long as human rights are not violated. If the same happened in some of the Asian or Gulf nations, they would also come down hard on her. One can sympathize with BG for what will be a difficult few years ahead of her while at the same time pointing out that she brought it on herself. She's a victim only of her own circumstances.

They have their excuses lined up, I'm sure. They're still one of those teams that you can never count out, but Breanna Stewart has moved on...thank you very much! SC and Stanford have loaded up their rosters nicely to create competition at the top.

Baylor is just to thin after there starters. I don`t think any team without a good or deep bench will get to the final four.
Baylor will breeze through their first 3 games, but like you said, I think the lack of depth will catch up to them when they play Louisville.

Who do you have knocking UConn out? This might just be wishful thinking, but I'm hoping that Kentucky can take them down.

I have them losing to Indiana in most of my brackets. I think they are two very similar teams. Think Indy is more mature and better defensively. They had some issues with Holmes out and working back in. She looks pretty much back to form to me though.

Death, taxes, and UConn in the Final Four, that's what gives. They're still the only program that guarantees a trip to the Final Four every. single. season. Until proven otherwise. One of the most amazing streaks in sports history and why recruits like Crystal Dangerfield, from Tennessee, keep going there...

Getting there is one thing. LSU had a decent streak some years back. Winning is another and they haven’t been unbeatable in years. They may get there again but they don’t have the size to win.

No program has ever had a streak like this. Not even close. Pat used to say making the Final Four is more difficult than the Final Four itself. With Tennessee going on year 14 in their drought, it looks like she was onto something.

No team looks unbeatable this season. When (not if) UConn makes the Final Four, if they stay healthy, they have about as good a chance as anyone...

You must be joking or you just say stuff off the top of your head with no knowledge of the topic to begin with.

ONO: 6'5"
Juhasz: 6'5"
Edwards: 6'3"
Ducharme: 6'2"
