Shakira Austin almost looks like she don’t even want to play for Ole Miss anymore.

Austin will probably be an WNBA draft pick, first round. However, I am sorry, but she seemed to underperform her whole career. I am sure I have missed her big moments, but what games I have seen, she was mostly coming off the bench, except for last night. My Dad would say, Rick, you are all wet. JMHO...

She should've stayed at Maryland or chose elsewhere to go, Coach Yo never used her to her strengths. She should've been played at the 4 and not at the 5. If coach you would've start Scott at the 3, Austin at the 4, and Kitchens at the 5 most of the season, they probably wouldn't have had the seed they had and a first round exit. This is just my opinion.

Not only that, but we have visitors on this board who have stayed silent! Silence is speaks volumes... Period! I've even @ one of them because they seemed decent and nothing. So my respect is going down sadly. They r a legit team but there are layers that don't add up.

Wasn’t Kara considered? Things that can be true about the process without it being racist …it was always going to be a woman. It was always going to be connected to Pat. Kellie was the natural pick with her success in the tourney that year. I don’t believe race had anything to do it. I think if Kyra, or Semeka, or any woman of color connected to the program had the run Kellie had that year, she would have been considered as well.
This is the sort of take that really irritates me. They literally called all of us racists for an opinion, not based on any facts. So now this is out there for the world to see and people will take it as fact.

Dawn will certainly be spoken of highly in the future. She’s doing great things and she’s a transformational leader. Most certainly I think she’s leading the pack with regards to using social media as a tool to boost both she and her players and her program’s profile so if nothing else, there’s certainly that. But I completely agree that Dawn sees this, because these are the highest profile fans they have and they’re just nasty af. I really hate they continue doing it but we also have fans who post crap about how bad they beat a team and how they shouldn’t have done it that way… erm no. I want our girls to beat everybody by 60 if they can. We gotta stop with the crazy takes just because it’s not us at the top anymore.

Are Lady Vol fans out there making fun of Dawns family illness or Dawns heart condition? If so please point me to those posts and i'll report them myself. I didn't see LV fans taking fact in delight of Dawns family having cancer... if so SHAME ON THEM!

What i do know is MANY coaches came to the defense of Dawn and her crew when they got called thugs in that whole Mizzu debacle. They asked for fans to remember these are people too. Dawn has addressed her FAMS (what they call their fans i guess) for treating people with respect before and keeping it about basketball before so it's not like this would be the first time she did it.

Keeping it to the fans... We here, also took up for SC when other teams fans were calling them thugs a couple of seasons ago. The same thing happened when Ole Miss got called out there names.

But i agree when you see the report or it's the only way to keep the trash (and their tweets) from perpetuating.

PS: this is the type of stuff that recruits see and get circled back thru in recruiting individuals. This is not from an insider i was told personally it's been said "why would you go there? They don't truly support someone like you" that came from the mouth of a person getting recruited by multiple D1 schools when she was looking at TN.

I’m trying to say this without having my rose colored glasses on…what are some of the things Lady Vol fans are saying that are remotely close to the things SC fans are saying. I’m not trying to be flippant, I’m genuinely curious.

One has only to read the posts of South Carolina fans to realize they are in a class all their own. I saw where the chicken ghost posted after saying he would not be posting here again. Guess one can't believe anything they say.
