Certainly not nonsense to say the roster that LSU will put on the floor next season is exceptional. Only someone like you would think that totally brain dead to facts and information. How could anyone think that the combination of Reese, Williams, F. Johnson, and S. Smith don't match any four you have coming back. At the moment Reese is the leading contender for player of the year in the SEC. Smith is very close to averaging a double double, I've seem Williams play enough to know she is going to be an impact player right away. Johnson is as good as any of the guards you have coming back. Then you have the other freshmen that will make their bench along with the returnees very solid. Your not very smart when it comes to basketball can see that very clearly.

I guess they sold you after scoring 100 5 times in a row against Cornfield State University you should go be a fan of them instead lol. Damn you couldn’t judge them after they at least played Tulane or Oregon St.? But I’m the one not smart when it comes to basketball but you can see clearly that LSU is going to be a national contender next year huh? Rankings move as she was committed for for awhile, after her commitment she continued to move up which is a credit to her and play in the tournaments. No debating that, but in recruiting from football to basketball, once a kid commits if they are slotted high they get a bump based on the brand.

I didn't make it Justine vs Ace. You sorta did that by phrasing your post the way you did with what Ace had accomplished vs Justine when said you she is having a hard time getting on the court. Ace is where she is going what she is doing and same for Justine. That opened up the convo.

I added to what you said about her getting a bump in the rankings because she committed to a brand by saying her accomplishments which also most likely helped her with the bump. We can name countless players that got bumps on rankings because they made USA teams (Sabrina Ionescu was one that often comes to mind ... i believe she was ranked low or unranked and then shot up the rankings) or they played well at tournaments in front of the right people.

This isn't to belabor the convo but to provide you and anyone else reading this clarity on why i said what i said. Not to make it a Justine vs Ace but to add to the whole brand comment and add more facts to the one you had stated.

I do have one more thing to add. We could have had both but then one of the transfers wouldn't be here. I think in the end we will be glad we got who we got.

Also something to watch if Ace's shooting percentages (as mentioned by another poster) continue to stay the way they are. this also isn't a knock on the kid but as you said the lack of fundamental coaching being provided. Justine's aren't any better but hers come in a smaller sample size as you've mentioned. I agree this isn't Ace vs Justine because they both have their own paths to follow.

I had decided that this conversation was a little pointless, but this latest post makes it seem that the entire goal all along has been to criticize the staff. It's the recruiting. Now it's lack of player development.

You mention that the Pissott was #49 when she committed but then rose to #11 at least partially based upon the TN "brand" (but somehow that's supposed to not be a dig at Justine?). But was Ace being strongly considered as a sophomore? Is the staff supposed to take every local player even if it creates a logjam at a position or prevents a proven transfer from joining a full roster?

You mentioned WVU, but they literally recruited over Ace. And where is WVU ranked today, and where is Pitt ranked today? ETSU just beat Vandy by 13 points, so should Ralph be bashed for not recruiting ETSU players from TN and SW Virginia? We can't simultaneously bash the staff for not going after top 10 talent while still insisting that they take every good player in the neighborhood.
