Going with just non-lady vol news here but -
Ooof Netherlands is in a whole different class. We are young so hopefully better in four years. They let us dribble at midfield all day but then swarmed. Our crosses just weren’t on point. Pulisic’s miss early really hurt.

Chattanooga plays really solid defense will be a tough game for us. They are not a team that has a lot of offense but they can guard. Losing 27 to 25 to Bama at halftime.

Nice win for Mizzou over UMass on a neutral court. They'll play the home team, AxState tomorrow.

Mizzou's only loss was to #9 VaTech

Any player that wants to get an early start at another school would get in the portal in the next couple of weeks. They wouldn't be eligible to play basketball, but would be able to get ahead in academics at the other school. Would be eligible July 1st next season. Strange to leave during basketball season, but I see a lot of potential portal players as soon as the season is over. We recruited Verhulst and I think Kellie had some relationship with her when she was at Missouri State. I don't know if she is the type of player we would be looking for think we need more inside players and slashing guards.
She is one of two bigtime players according to rankings already in the portal. The other is Kyndal Hunter a player we could definitely use at Tennessee.

I’m officially concerned about the SC Lady G’s outside shooting…..gotta get that fixed. Yesterday was the worse shooting performance from outside the paint I have seen in years. One shot made from outside the paint the entire game….

Vandy lost 2 of their starters for the entire year, before the season began. And they lost another starter last week. Like us, lots of injuries.

Not a good excuse. As mentioned UT Martin lost their best player as well.

Notre Dame lost half their dang team one season and won a natty. All it takes is the 5 on the floor at any given time playing as a unit.
