Non-Lady Vol Basketball News 2024-25

It is a strange season Nebraska that lost to Va Tech by 31 points just beat number 20 Maryland by 23 90 to 67 on their homecourt. Looks like Maryland, Texas, and Louisville of the teams thought to be great teams will be joining Tennessee in the double digit loss column this season.

Not a good excuse. As mentioned UT Martin lost their best player as well.

Notre Dame lost half their dang team one season and won a natty. All it takes is the 5 on the floor at any given time playing as a unit.

Buy in and coaching. Tennessee boys verse Kansas after the gun arrest

Outstanding coaching. I haven’t seen one elite team in WCBB.

Most talented teams are: Ohio State, Tennessee, South Carolina, Indiana, and Stanford.
Best coached teams are UConn, Ohio State, Stanford, UCLA, Notre Dame, Iowa and Indiana.
Worse coached team 1. Tennessee.
Uconn got their ass kicked today by ND, I realize Fudd missed most of second half, UCONN still had more talent than ND. Stanford lost at home. Indiana almost lost to Illinois today, Iowa has 3 losses. UCLA has had a few head scratchers trying to put away inferior opponents. It's all subjective man, but Iowa as being one of the best coached teams? That lady has no control over what happens on the floor, Clark runs that team.

Texas obviously went on the cheap and did not hire the best available coach!!! Wonder who their next coach will be when they fire him this year!!!
They only hired him because he has property in Texas!!

I bet he regretted leaving Mississippi

UConn was dominated in the paint by ND with their greater size. We know what Dawn's strategy will be.

Put Niele Ivey along with Banghart as two potential coaching options when the Tennessee job came open, who both have their programs in much better shape than Tennessee right now...

Huge pickup! They’re going to be super tough to stop with her and Azzi on the floor. She’s got a similar form and has a little moxie in her game. Reminds me of Marina Mabrey.

Well, Uconn has their star players injured every year so I don't know about that. Not wishing anyone injury but it's been happening.

Niele was obviously going to be the successor to Muffet whenever she retired and that losing season ND accelerated the timline. Ironically both Banghart and Ivey turned down the Vanderbilt job that eventually when to Stephanie White
