They should certainly make the dance next season when Mulkey is eligible to play, she played with both girls (in high school/travel ball) and they all know one anothers game very well!
I always thought a smaller Texas school wouldve been better for her than a bigger program like Oklahoma
Yes shes listed at 69 & Griner is listed at 68
I believe both are listed an inch shorter than their actual height!
Mulkey is every bit of 610/611 (based on photos of her and her 7 foot Brother)
Goodness gracious! Let me ask a dumb question: Why do they list them shorter than they actually are? I thought it was always the opposite.
It comes down to position and the person really.
Most women who play the game (much like their age) they don't want the actual height revealed (don't understand the reasoning)
Where as for guys they prefer to be listed as tall as they can except when it comes to positioning
For example Kevin Garnet didn't want to be labeled as just a post player so instead of being listed at 7', he wanted to be listed at 6'11"
Kevin Durant who's like 6'11" with guard skills doesn't want to be viewed as a post player either so instead of being listed at 6'11" his desire is to be listed at 6'9"
In the means game (at least in the past) if you were 6'10" or taller coaches immediately placed you in the Center position
So the 2018 recruiting season is done for the LVs or do they realistically have a change to snag at least one of the remaining 4 unsigned top 50 players? I still think we have a very good team, however, losing Nard and Russell will be tough to replace. I would have loved to see us get at least one big. We have lost our place as the program in the SEC, sure wish we could return to that position.
My gut instinct says that the LVs have a realistic shot at landing Green.Green is ranked #13 by ESPN and #24 by prospect nation while Burrell is steadily climbing the ranking thanks to her coming on late last year as a junior and her AAU season so yes we have a legit shot... doesnt mean it will happen but it is a shot !
