At this point I'm very sure we whiff on all three. Missing out on Smith (who I'm pretty sure we were 2nd for) and now 2nd for DeCosta... BOTH to Baylor has completely dejected my confidence in our staff's recruiting. Maybe they have a last minute card to play.. but I'm mentally preparing myself for just a class of 1.

We'll see, but as of right now.. no expectations to land either. We're moving on to 2019.

Not to be mean to UCONN, but I hope they do not get both Williams and ODO. They will certainly be in the running for several top recruits in 2019.

It’s just me but I don’t think they get either one.

I think Williams will end up in South Carolina and ONO will end up at Florida State or Stanford

Speak for yourself SCGamecock. Of course worst case scenario is a class of one but I can assure you both CW and ONO are weighing hard on SC and the option to play with Destannni Henderson. We'll know a lot more around this time next week when CW release her final two. Fingers crossed 🤞🏾

I'm not ready to count out Duke yet for Nelson-Ododa...

Who do you think gets her final 2 official visits out of UGA, Duke and Stanford?

Yes, I looked at Stanfords roster and the center is a junior this season and that would be perfect for her.

Stanford and Duke, I am not counting Duke out either but word is that she wants to play in a warmer climate which to makes me think her final two choices will be between Florida State and Stanford

Academically and based on her heritage I think she (her parents) pushes her toward Stanford (if she in fact prefer a warmer climate along with the academics)

But that is just my thought

And the one you saw (Coffee) doesn't play (averaged about 3 minutes a game and it was only if Kaylee Johnson or Erica McCall was in trouble)

Kaylee Johnson is a Senior this year and will start/play the 5 again this year (McCall played more at the 4 and is now in the WNBA) and Fingall (who was a freshman who played a little last year but was highly recruited) will more than likely start/play at the 4.

ONO would be able to come in and more than likely start right away at Stanford

Which makes it a plus for her and her parents

ouhoops.com? Good luck with that. I joined 4 years ago and I'm still waiting for an e-mail from them. Unless you follow the party lines and agree that Sherri Coale is the greatest thing since sliced bread you will be jeered off that site. They even ran their best member, soonernorm, off. Soonernorm was always fair and objective about all things BIG XII and they couldn't stand it. Norm also had inside conections to the D/FW AAU circuit and they would go ape **** when he would tell them they weren't getting a recruit they wanted. ..and he was right!You would be better off lurking that site and enjoying the delusion of Syb and others there. :hi:

I'll say it again, although I'm not sure why I really care, but I'm pretty sure that they haven't changed the regs relating to discussing particular recruits before they have actually signed a LOI, but if the Baylor staff is actually having these discussions, I doubt that I would be posting them on a public forum or that the staff would be wanting me to do so!

Exactly, I understand they are excited about their class and rightfully so but they aren’t suppose to be discussing it publicly until the players sign their LOI

Rae Burrell is our last best hope a top 50 player that has the athleticism to develop into a top 20 player for some team. She needs to develop her basketball skills on offense and she will be as good as anyone in this years top 20.
