North Carolina State would be perfect

LOL

I've gone to catholic schools my entire life and my girlfriend is part of a very large catholic family. So what? I guess your mom is an expert on the NYC football tv market?

Even a terribly flawed survey like this is still better than your mom's intuition about catholic new yorkers tv watching habits.

You're missing the point entirely.

1. It's not my mother's intuition, it's mine.
2. I'm applying to Catholics as a whole- New York Catholics are likely very similar to other Catholics, no? I'd say that a large majority of them at minimum follow Notre Dame athletics.

Claiming Rutgers, a school with limited athletic success outside of women's basketball, has more fans in New York City than Notre Dame, a school with nationwide value and huge pull in New York, is moronic.

and your authority on the subject is because your mom is a teacher at a catholic school in VA. Ha

My entire family. Not one ND fan.

And of all the Catholics I know, they are fans of the schools they graduated from or had family members attend. They like when ND does well, but they're not turning on NBC to watch them play purdue.

Regardless, none of this is relevant to the fact that rutgers has a good share of the college football-watching NYC market. (which includes NJ)

Most Catholics in NYC aren't college football fans anyway.

Oh how about all those Catholics in LA! Oh tons of them! ND must be far and away the king of the LA market too!

Cfb doesn't have any significant pull in nyc, doesn't matter who the team is. It's the giants, jets and thats it.

They all love Rutgers up in the northeast. Every last one of 'em.

You said they are an after thought. And your standing on the matter is that your mom is a teacher at a catholic school in VA. Who is silly?

No one wants to mention that sport that starts with a "B" when talking about the NYC market. It is very foolish to overlook that.

I don't know if it does or it doesn't. But Rutgers is a major university not very far away, so it's hardly moronic to think it has a decent fan base there.

I'm not Catholic, by the way, but I did go in a Catholic church once. I saw no evidence that there were Notre Dame fans present.
