North Iowa Tea Party billboard

Both are facist, socialist and hate certain groups of people. So fine, if the Hitler comparison is too strong for you then maybe you will find a comparison to Chavez, Castro or Ahmadinejad more to your liking?
I don't like Obama, but you're going way out on a limb with some of your assumptions and I can only hope you know that.

"Socal justice" is a code phrase for whatever your enemies want to re-package your politics into.

I mean, I could argue that the tea party's platform of cutting social spending and then taxes for the wealthy is their own brand of "social justice" because it rewards those who work and invest and that is justice.

I can't believe you typed this, LG! Maybe there's still hope for you... :)

Wait! Jesus rode camels?

I know about Him riding the donkey into Jerusalem.

gs, have you not read this thread? There are not any comparisons between Hitler and Barry, they are on opposite ends of the spectrum, that's what many have told us here anyway.

Really??

What do they say when you tell them that although the German government wanted Obama to speak somewhere else he chose to speak with the Berlin Victory Column as his backdrop???

For those not sufficiently up on their German history, that giant monument in front of which Obama gave his now-famous Berlin speech is the Berlin Victory Column.

The column, originally located in Königsplatz and constructed to commemorate and celebrate Prussian military dominance and victory in the Danish-Prussian War, was relocated to Berlin by the Nazis in 1939, in full accordance with their public symbolism of their military might.

To this day, it is still viewed as a Nazi symbol of the victory of socialism.
