If Russia is winning so easily, like 7 to 1, why would it matter if S. Korea arms Ukraine? Surely it won't make a difference. Seems like Russia is worried about some of these "game changing" weapons if they are trying to stop the transfer of them.
And if Russia is trying to buy ammunition from N Korea as reported exactly what are they going to arm them with?

Couldn't you kind of say the same thing about Ukraine? If Ukraine was kicking as much ass as American media/politicians/propaganda peddlers want us to believe, shouldn't we be able to stop sending taxpayer money and taxpayer-funded weapons to them?

Zelensky is able to put most of it into his own pockets anyway, as reports are starting to show. They must be doing fine- no need to send more.

I've literally had the same opinion on this conflict in Ukraine since the start, and have watched basically everything I thought would happen with the aid we send them happen, and yet that has made me a pro-Russia troll to some.

Both countries have bad leaders and bad governments. Putin shouldn't have invaded but they way the left suddenly is praising zelensy is just insane. The peace loving left has no problems seeing every Ukraine man killed.

And none of it has anything to do with the average American. The only "strategic" interest we have in that country is that it is a playground for American politicians to launder money and land cushy no-show jobs for their kids and family members.

American investment in this conflict is solely at the benefit of politicians and members of the MIC.

Agreed, Rice and Obama regime could bring them to the table now and work out a piece plan but too much money is being wasted to too many beaurocrats. Zelensky will probably loose this war yet he'll come out richer. He'll probably seek asylum here, though his country will be ruined.

I don't buy our media's bs either. They have claimed 2 or 3 to 1 k/d ratio in favor of Ukraine, I have maintained its closer to 1:1, and the leak shows I was more correct than our media. I have maintained the entire time that the truth is somewhere in between. and that has been the truth. Not that Ukraine was running out of soldiers or weapons, or that Russia was. Nope, its a war. both sides are taking bad losses, and it is impacting their ability to make war. But as the losses are relatively equal it doesn't make a difference if one side has a diminished capability, because the other side is relatively in as bad of a spot too. Its why there hasn't been any major shifts in the war.

A whole year of Russian planning resulted in an offensive that took 1 town they have been actively fighting over for 8 months.
A whole year of Ukraine blowing up bridges, hitting supplies, "decimating" the Russians, and being rearmed still has Russian controlling a good chunk of their land.

I don't think the Ukrainian spring offensive will end the war either, or demonstrably change it. They will retake some territory, maybe 1 or 2 meaningful towns, and then be stuck staring at the Russians for 6 months.

I won't believe one side has a dramatic advantage until I see it play out.

The reality is that as much as the media wants to make this conflict into something big, I imagine it's highly localized, relatively small scale combat and (in my opinion) an excuse to funnel even more money through a corrupt "initiative" (on both the Ukraine AND Russian sides).

This is proved out in a lot of ways, through my eyes- that they had to fake an air raid in Kiev during Biden's visit, that I personally know several Ukrainian and American civilians that have been back and forth and back and forth between the US and Ukraine all during this conflict, and by the open exaggeration of combat in/around Kiev and beyond that can be easily disproved by looking at things like social media from people living in some of the places we get told are hot.

Anecdotally, I also watched what the American media was saying about relatively innocuous protests down in Peru compared to what I was actually seeing with my own eyes in the country. I also love going to see the "huge" protests outside the SCOTUS (usually in the barely hundreds of people, which the media exaggerates about). If they lie about these things, why would they not lie about their huge cash cow in eastern Europe?

I think this is a silly analogy. Are you saying you expect for them to go along with it? Rethink this.

If you buy any of this, I have a bridge to sell you.

China considers NK to be a primary defensive buffer. It doesn't do much of anything without Xi's permission. Now a rational thinker could say that the NK is a major part of Japan and the Philippines to boost military spending, which upsets China, and that if they denuked Japan might back off, but Japan is more worried about China than anything. That one is racial and goes back 2000 years.

No, let's not have any of that diplomacy nonsense. Let's just ramp up the war talk and weapons.

Biden, Yoon Agree: Response To North Korean Nuclear Attack Would Include US Nukes | ZeroHedge

South Korea's Yoon for his part took a tough stance in response to Pyongyang's recent frequent missile drills and nuclear rhetoric, saying "peace with North comes through superior force, not 'goodwill'" - according to AFP. Yoon also said that the response to a possible North Korean nuclear attack would include US nukes. Biden affirmed Yoon's comments...

Talking out of both sides of their mouths...

The escalation in deterrence policy is also being framed in Washington as necessary to avoiding a nuclear arms race on the peninsula, given that in the wake of frequent new North Korean weapons tests, Seoul officials have begun to consider a nuclear option.

The Yoon administration is reportedly seeking to make clear that it's not pursuing nukes. A US State Department official this week said that the south is "not pursuing a nuclear weapons program and that it is working closely with the United States through existing extended deterrence mechanisms."

The US will send Ohio-class submarines with Trident II ballistic missiles and nuclear warheads with a launch range of up to 12,000 km to the Republic of Korea

Just to make sure this clown (and China) knows we intend to protect S. Korea and our other allies, we are openly sending subs with Trident IIs to the peninsula for the 1st time since 1981. They are the quick strike capability portion of the nuclear triad.

Also...the USS Tennessee is confirmed to be a Trident sub in this article rather than a Tomahawk sub. We have an azzload of Ohio class nuclear subs...14 i think...and those are just the Ohio class. Thankfully we have others as well.
