'25 Northwestern Transfer OL Josh Thompson (LSU)

If they like it so much, why did they take Moe and tried to get Thompson?
That comment was made in the context of losing Thompson. Tennessee wasn’t willing to pay what LSU was to get him.

So your question is flawed. They didn’t go all in to get Thompson because they like what they have. If they could have gotten him for a decent price, of course you take him. It’s always nice to have more.

As for Moe, he’s included in the “what they have.”

Biggest question for me is center. Really have no good tape to assess Satterwhite or Anderson. Is Moe RG? Keep hearing good things about Perry. Obviously Sanders will play. Campbell struggled all year. I think the right side will be better.
As for the left side, if you buy into PFF (I take with grain of salt since they don’t know what the actual assignment is on that play), Karic graded out as our second best lineman for the year. Elite? No. Better? I think so.
Is that a nod to CGE? I’m gonna tread lightly on that one because that’s a pretty unpopular thing to do around these parts 😉

Wright came in as a 17 yr old freshman. Some freshman come in already 19. Trust me that is a big difference.
I never said it was or wasn't? I just said that a lot of people declare a kid a bust if they're not Trey Smith out of the gates. He was mediocre as a Jr so I don't think age matters after 3 years in college and starting that whole time.

Kelly likely being on the hot seat in 2025 probably has something to do with it too…
Kelly finished year 3 on a $100 million contract. While the Cajuns would be restless, they can’t afford to fire him at the end of 2025 even if he bombs. They got their guy for a good while.

We said the same thing about A&M and Jimbo too…

Either we're a poverty program or we're saving our money to go big on the 2026 recruiting class.

If we don't have a top 5 class in 2026 I'll just start to assume we're a poverty program that can't compete with the big boys in this new age of NIL.
Sprye was the #2 collective this past season and Tennessee was 1 of 6 schools to eclipse $200 million in revenue. If you’re choosing to be stupid, feel free. But at least get your facts straight
