No need to bring the Mets into this, thank you very much. It’s quite obvious who has the money to compete and who doesn’t but money never guarantees success. Look no further than the Yankees and the Mets, of course they have a much better shot than the Brewers. We adjusted well to NIL early in the game but the game may have changed to something we aren’t currently playing

Think that’s our program now. Hard to accept, but a good year we beat 2 of our 3 major rival games in FL/AL/UGA and make a CFP. Bad year, we lose all three. On the bad year, we have to avoid losing an Arkansas game so we can be 9-3. As a whole, we recruit very well, but our conference has 6-8 teams that can consistently out recruit us. UGA/AL/TX/A&M/FL/AU/LSU all have large funds. Ole Miss may have at least the same if not more funds than we do as well. Best thing to do, enjoy the game, and at the end of night, go enjoy things that matter like family and friends. Don’t let UT sports dictate your life because the current college landscape is a disaster. I refuse to let 18 and 19 year olds making 100k+ in college ruin my night just to see those same guys leave a year later to the highest bidder. Accept it. Cheer for our Vols, and move on to more important things in life.It would appear our ceiling may be to be able to make the CFP from time to time but not quite get over the hurdle. We simply don’t have the NIL power to compete with the big dogs
Thanks for the clarification. I knew he was talking about total revenue as I heard the show yesterday. I thought some didn’t actually make a profit but I think that changed when they implemented the salary cap years ago. Lots of money for sure.I think my number was revenue, but Forbes reported that every NFL team was profitable by a minimum $56 million last year. The Cowboys revenue was $1.2 billion with operating income of $564 million.
I’d probably start it if nobody else does but would rather someone already closer to the team do it. Though I am close with half the team’s personal jewelers I wouldn’t know how to get it to the right people to entice recruits specifically for football. If the funds went to Spyre we don’t know how much is going to football. If I do start it can you help get the funds to the right place?I think anything anyone can do is super appreciated.
Lame mindset to think small amounts don’t matter. They do and they add up.
Sure, but if you do it through Vol Club.. 80%+ of it goes to football and you can earmark it for exclusively that.I’d probably start it if nobody else does but would rather someone already closer to the team do it. Oh ok I misread their site a long time ago then haha. I just thought it was a 90/10 split 90% to players of all sports and then 10% to operating costs. Anyways I think for people to want to do it on here it would have to be its own thing instead of someone just collecting money to put into one account on Vol Club.Sure, but if you do it through Vol Club.. 80%+ of it goes to football and you can earmark it for exclusively that.
