Just because Dooley was awful doesn't mean Butch gets it. As many have stated, it's one thing to not be talented, but the team certainly appears to be regressing since their big win. If Butch gets it, he needs to get the team back in line. I'm not sold on Butch myself yet, he's made great strides towards the future, but so had Dools in his first eight months. Now Butch has a signature win and the team has gone south since. It doesn't get any easier next week as an 8-1 Auburn comes to visit. As I said during the summer, I don't need wins, but the team that showed up for UGA and USCe should be showing up week in and week out.

They had a ton of freshmen receivers on their roster that turned out really good , and a Bama record setting receiver in his senior year . Shula did a good job recruiting and had actually had 10 wins the year before the 6-7 year...that is why he got fired. I think Saban went 6-6 despite the talent he had and lost one to La Moe..his schedule was considerably softer than ours.

And both were redshirt freshmen when they played. Even as talented as they were, their coaches knew that their more experienced Qb's had a better chance at being successful than playing a true freshman. That's what Dobbs is. And both of them had a helluva better supporting cast than Dobbs has around him.

A true freshman Qb starting in his first game with only one WR with any playing experience coming into this season against the #9 team in the nation on the road. What could go wrong? His experienced offensive line sh*t the bed and both the offensive and defensive lines got whipped.

The defense is average at best and the team as a whole is average at best. Anyone who actually thought UT was going to win this game either didn't know much about football or is completely clueless.

Dobbs completion percentage dwarfs Worley's at this point. when's the last time Worley completed over 60% in a game?

And he still didn't surpass Worley's masterful 3 Ints against South Alabama, or Peterman's Picasso in the Swamp.

Nope didnt think they would win but thought they might score at least 2 TDs -- maybe the scouting staff is to blame - SC had their way on screens and qb draws last week - seems thats the way to beat Missouri

To make Dobbs look worse than he did, or to make others look better. I don't give a da-- who the QB is, but the Dobbs haterz are the worst. Kid played with heart tonight and has the talent to back it up. He wasn't perfect, but a true freshman against a top 10 team on the road in his first start? Could've used some help.

I thought we'd play better and we didn't. Part of that has to do with a new QB and the O-line not knowing his cadence and playing on the road with crowd noise. However, I'm not going to throw the entire coaching staff and team under the bus. Did they play bad? Yes. Can they play better? Yes.

This wasn't the same team that played USCjr or UGA. However, this team plays much better at home than on the road for some reason. Call it youth in spots or whatever. Our O-line played like a bunch of freshmen tonight and they're the most experienced bunch on the team.

They've got another week to figure it out. I don't expect them to beat Auburn. I expect them to be better though especially on offense.

Same here - at least we dont suck as bad as Arkansas and they thought they got a great coach.

They will get better, dobbs has 0 help. No running game this weekend, and some really young wr's. one of those wr's has no business playing on a sec team. I just hope we beat vandy and ky to make a bowl.

I was in attendance, there was nothing to do with crowd noise. The crowd was relatively weak.

I hate to say this but we are a different team at home. We will play a lot better next week. Youth will do that
