There was crowd noise. It may not have been Bama, LSU, UGA, Fla type of crowd noise, but it wasn't a home game. I think it had more to do with Dobbs' cadence and the players across the line though. The O-line was antsy all night because they were getting their asses whipped.

When Bray played his first game as a Freshman he had 3 receivers and 2 TE's that are now in the NFL plus Gerald Jones and Zack Rogers to throw to. Dobbs has North and Pig that's it. Huge difference

Im not gonna say Oh I feel terrible for these guys because bottom line is they are getting an education at a great school for free. most will graduate and do well outside of football and some of the seniors will play a long time in the nfl. That being said, From corey miller to Jacques smith and you might as well throw juniors coleman & AJ Johnson in there as well. All of these guys were highly touted and so far haven't lived up to the hype. We need pass rushers. Linebackers that can cover in space and a corner who isn't giving 10 yds off the line of scrimmage on a 3&7. Lets see how we do with the next few recruiting classes fielded before we give up on Butch.

At least we have Woody Quinn for one more year. Why Butch why? If you're going to waste a scholarship waste it on a guy that can possibly learn to tackle somebody and not on a JUCO TE that has played very little football in his life. I realize he scorched the "Orange Empire Conference" of California for 15 catches last season but come on this is the SEC!!!!

Well for those who are not sold on Butch and Dobbs, I have a simple solution for you: stop cheering for Tennessee and bandwagon another team. Its pretty simple. If you're going to berate a first year HC with a true freshman QB then we don't need you as fans anyway.

We lost to a better team with more talent. We have the slowest defense in the SEC. Some of you guys shouldn't post on game day because it is just pathetic. Still 3 games left and it's only year one for Butch.

Dobbs is not the answer! A few times tonight, I spotted him on the sidelines hanging his head like Vince Young after a bad series.

With the above being said, Butch should not come out of this unscathed. Butch did not have the team mentally prepared to play on the road. It also seems like they don't practice fundamentals. Examples, don't run a route with your arms wide open.

sorry, i am having a hard time differentiating between him and the other 1000 people throwing a temper tantrum. that was my bad, i just can't believe what is happening right now. i feel like i am in the twilight zone. we have 1 "bad game" (i was frustrated also) and everyone is calling for a new staff.

Not calling for a whole new staff, but Butch should really evaluate his coordinators on both sides of the ball at the end of the season.

Agree with the Butch part. Dobbs part is BS... I've been as Orange as a man can get for 36 years, and I'm not sold on Dobbs. Don't have to be...there is no reason to be. He looked decent but not great. 2 tds were dropped but so were 2 INT. If you're going to magically credit him for 2 tds then he also had 4 magical INTs.. I wish he was Randall Cunningham. I'd settle for Tee Martin and call it a blessing. I think Ferguson is the best QB on the roster, Time will tell. GBO VFL HUBANegavols.

I Think everyone on here should be a coach for a day.And see if they could do better with the talent we have.Put no blame on our players or coaches its just what we have.We will get to the top again.

OK I should have said Steve Young and Heath Shuler? Not everyone that criticizes a black QB is a racist Sherlock. Both my little sisters are black and I'm currently helping my mom put one of them thru college... my family portrait has all different flavors of folks in it and I love them all. If you'd like to read back thru all my posts you'll see that I'm a Charlotte resident and have followed Ferguson through his last 2 seasons of HS ball. I believe he is every bit as fast as Dobbs and throws a much better ball. Not because he is white...because he's a better QB. Piss off.

Josh Dobbs has more accolades academically and athletically at 18 than you or I combined. I'm proud of this kid and he stands in the pocket like a boss for such a young guy. I'm sure Ferg is just as capable and I'm anxious to see him too. In short, give CBJ time to get his guys in place. Help is on the way. CBJ shouldn't be put to the fire until 2016. Until then we should all relax.

Anytime you get the Georgia HS athlete of the year that has the option and offer to attend Harvard, you have a pretty special guy.
