Ok so you have crappy QB 80% of the year, that means hardly any true running game, you play how many ranked teams? Yet you still have low sack numbers and a runner nearing 1000 yards despite what I just mentioned, and it's the OL that sucks?

Dude the OL is the only thinkg holding this team together and not being the worst fielded SEC team.

Maybe he can get enough talent in here to mask that

Great coachs coach up average talent and this Coach can't do that..the o-line alone shows.that fact

Yet again, the Dobbs defenders are defending him because his receivers dropped a couple passes that were on the money, but disregard the throws he had over their heads, at their feet, when they weren't looking, etc, but only remember those when it came to Worley. He had an ok game, but it wasn't nearly as good as most make it out to be.

The o-line gets worse every week. We can not ever go for it on 4th and 1 any more cause one of them are going to move too soon every time. Two BACK TO BACK!

Here are some facts for you also, true freshman qb making his very first start on the road against a top 10 team with a pretty damn good dl.

1) CBJ was a great mid major recruiter . UT has a huge recruiting budget and some of the best facilities in the country. Not a miracle or coincidence.
2 ) OL coaching is fine. Defenses have zero respect for our intermediate passing game so they key and attack our run gaps with abandon. Why should they respect our intermediate passing game? ..it is inconsistent at best. Then we get behind and the clock is against us ...and they pass rush with abandon. The real issue is QB and receiver play ...and their problem is youth. Asking an Oline to play in an overload or predictable situation never works out.
3 Playcalling is limited ..because our passing game is inconsistent. If we cant pass , we cant run ..it is that whole 'balance' principle that you have heard people speak of before. If you cant pass out of multiple formations and there are only so many run gaps which are all being keyed ...you must be talking about running single wing football
4 Defense . This was a close game early . The problem up front seems to be a depth issue. We have no rotation ...therefore we have less than a half of consistent defense. Plus we have a virtually freshmen secondary .

I will take your rant more seriously in 2015 when the issues of youth and depth have been addressed. If the problems are still afoot at that time ..I will be on your side

I'm not a Dobbs defender but no way in hell is this game his fault. I seen him make a couple bad decisions and a few off target throws, but you would too if you were running for ur life every play. Maybe if the OL could learn to block inside-out like they're supposed to instead of letting them come through the A gaps, we wouldn't have this problem.

Wow a freshman QB made a few mistakes on the road against #9 in the country. He also threw 2 passes that should've been TDs, had his O line false start 5 times, had 2 holding calls, pressure in his face all night long in his FIRST FREAKING START! He showed a ton of potential with his legs and arm and will learn from his mistakes. Half of you "fans" saying Butch sucks blah blah were on Dooleys nuts until the end. Please remind me when Dooley beat a top 10 team, had kids actually making grades, and had a top 5 class? Hell even Dooleys 4 stars were for the most part busts when he did pull one. It's gonna take another year or two. If you can't see that we don't have SEC athletes then idk what to tell you. Root for Bama I guess bc your IQ appears to be on the same level as the majority of them.

Problem is Dooley had time to get depth after 3 years and instead of upticks in wins, we saw plateaus and even down slides with 2 full years of his recruits.

Its not that hard to figure out. If by year 3 there a coach hasnt been able to turn losses to wins with his own players, then guess what......

he has played 3 ranked teams ...and lost 2 of them . He has beaten all of the un-ranked teams.

we too have beaten all of the un-ranked teams that we have played and beaten 1 ranked team.

wish we had their schedule

Comparing the Texas Tech and Tennessee schedules is borderline lunatic, come at me with something better than that. And nobody is giving you or any of the other naysayers excuses they are simply the facts.
