Martin talking about having to call plays just to execute a simple lob from the pg position is telling. Sounds to me like we have some pg's that can just go out and ball now without having to look to the coach everytime after walking the ball up and standing 35 feet out waiting for directions
I don't think Martin has said those words in that order; if he has I missed it.
As for last shot of the game, and foul line...neither one, I'd want McRae.
If Maymon is truly back to his old form , then he should get the ball with the game on the line. How many clutch shots did he make 2 years ago? Go back and watch the 1st Memphis game that year. You can't go wrong with McRae either. It's nice to have
options.
32 points 20 rebounds. I'll give him a pass on the air ball.
But you're talking about who you want to have the ball with the game on the line. I didn't say Maymon is bad, I said that was a bad example. Yeah we wouldn't have been in the game if not for Maymon, but I agree with BTO in that I want McRae with the ball.

I remember Maymon hitting the last shot to win or tie a game a few times. I feel more comfortable with Maymon over Stokes in that situation. Maymon handles the ball better, and is better from the line. But you are right, McRae will be option 1, and Maymon 2
Just win big, and it won't matter!!!!
This has to be like Christmas morning for you!!!!
