So you view Stokes as a Rodman like tallent without the drama? Can't think of many 6'-7" guys as predominantly rebounders playing in the league.

Charles Barkley 6'4 1/2" round mound of rebound comes to mind. Going back further Wes Unseld was 6'7" and played center for the Washington Bullets. He avg 14 rebs over his career.

Barkley was just a freak and Unseld was before guys were nearly as big and athletic as now.....I see stokes more like a C Oakley.

To be honest, I don't really know. BTO, you well know that I am not fan of CCM, however I would like to see the Vols make the tournament. The problem is that I have not seen a whole lot out of Zo to make me think that he is anything more than an average basketball coach at best. I was not impressed by his comments last year after not making the tourney - seemed like a lot of whining and crying.

Whether the Vols should have been in the tourney is/was not the issue. He should have taken his lumps, and learned a lesson from it. A coach with CCM's HC experience does not gain favor or credibility with the AA Tourney Committee with the statements he made. WIN more ball games and/or have a tougher schedule.

Agree it wasn't handled perfectly, but that's last year, I'm talking about this year.

Get off to a great start. I believe they play 13 games before the SEC starts if they make it to the championship game in the BFA. No reason they can't be 12-1. At worst 11-2.

I think I predicted 11-2, but there's plenty of "reasons" why it could be worse. You're saying at worst 11-2, we could play 2 ranked teams on the road, 2 ranked teams on neutral, and a ranked team at home.

You're talking possibly 5 games against ranked opponents OOC, and are saying "at worst" we should only lose 2 of those. I think 11-2 would be good, but depending on how the opponents are, I don't think 10-3 would be some epic failure OOC.

Well we could play xavier twice so that could be 2....as for Wichita. You do realize that as of today they would be favored over us right? They seem to be picked higher in every preseason ranking than us, and that game is at their place.

Lol I have nonissue with predicting a win against Wichita, but counting that as a game that he must win seems a little off base IMO.

Like I said, OOC we could play 5 ranked opponents, to say you can only lose 2 of those seems like an extremely high bar to set.

Like I said, I predicted 11-2, but I won't be calling for his head if they go 10-3. It just almost seems like you're setting him up for failure in your mind by saying, "at the worst" 11-2.
