Im thinking Pearl gets suspended for the first 5 or 6 games and we might lose a couple schollys. I think well be ok with this. I think the AA will take into account the CBP has already served an 8 conference game suspension and UCONN coach only got a 3 conference game suspension with 8 major violations, lie or no lie.

This statement seems to fall short of the highly speculated "Lying to the AA " does it NOT ?????

"By the three members of the men's basketball assistant coaching staff: failure to furnish full and complete information relevant to the investigation."

Well just because they didnt furnish info, doesnt mean they were keeping it from them. Its a possibility they had something the AA wanted and didnt realize it. Or they could have just played dumb. Either way.

apparently, there is some confusion.

no punishment has been laid out. this is just the ncaa laying out charges against tennessee.

tennessee has a chance to respond to those charges.

then, the ncaa hands out punishment.

If they asked me I would have been charged with this too. What a dumb charge.

Wow.. I didn't know he made phone calls to the recruits after the NCAA interview to cover himself.

That's not good

c'mon man.

Its like telling someone that they know who murdered someone just because they live next door. If they didnt tell NCAA something then how can NCAA know they knew? Stupid charge and stupid speculation.

because they may have interviewed several people who contradict things they were told by staff at tennessee.

i have no idea.

but, logic tells me if they lied about a damn bar-b-q and tried to cover that up......i wouldn't believe anything they said.

the problem tennessee has is that the ncaa is not a court of law. they don't need proof. all they have to do is believe something to be true.

i wouldn't worry about any of this anyway. if florida state can commit academic fraud across many different sports and be forced to only forfeit wins.....tennessee will probably be handed an apology from the ncaa for wasting its time.

all I know is I now really want to read the blacked out parts

I believe the blacked-out parts concern athletes who are currently at Tennessee. They black it out to protect them.

For instance, when Tobias (I think) committed, several coaches called him to congratulate him, but each didn't know the other one called. So they ended up calling too many times, and that's a violation, which is blacked out because Tobias is now a UT student-athlete.
