Now Comes The Fun Part.

UK will play good, sound, hard-nosed defense. We will have to shoot better from the perimeter than we have been to win. The good news is, we definitely tend to shoot better on our home floor.

What time is tipoff?

I think it will be a battle. Both teams will bring it.

should be a fun, intense game to watch.

CBG and his crew will outsmart us and UK will win by 10-12.

I really feel better after watching the Georgia game. The intensity was much better. I still don't like how we cover the high pick. Georgia did not take advantage of the overplay by the bigs as Gonzaga did every stinking time. Look out for the Pick and Roll from Kentucky.

9:00 est/8:00 ct ESPN. i really hope they show up. TBA needs to be loud, i saw too many people sitting on their hands for the zaga game. thats my perception from watching at home may of been different being there.

BWAHAAHAAHAAHAAAAA! :lolabove:

I do agree that it will be a battle of a game. From what I have seen this year, the problems we have had have not been with our "smarts"; athletic failure to hit a layup/three footer or properly guard the perimeter, sure; but that has nothing to do with the team's "smarts", or with CBP's coaching acumen.

Please. CBG couldn't outsmart a bottle of Jack Daniels and one of K-Y's finest.

I obviously hope that we win, but I just haven't seen anything in the past few games to indicate that we will.

One question. When a basketball game is on, do you watch it with your eyes opened or closed?

Tuesday night. National television. Big Blue in town. Let's hope the team is up to the moment.

Let's hope sometime between 2:15pm yesterday and 9pm Tuesday night they learn how to set a screen, defend the screen, and box out.

Let's hope this one is the game where we finally click. I hated sitting there watching us down by ten to Georgia, being scared out of my mind that we were gonna lose it. I think we will finally settle into a groove on this game. We know Kentucky, and we know what they're going to bring. We saw it last year, and we've seen it before. Kansas, that was a new one. Marquette and Georgetown were new ones. Gonzaga just overwhelmed us, and they would anyone else too, the way they played, especially the first time. But the SEC...we know the SEC. We've been there. Kentucky is good this year, started off slow, but they're good. It'll be a game. If Wayne can win against Patterson, get 10+ rebounds, Maze keeps that fire he had in the 2nd half vs. Georgia, and SOMEBODY knocks down some 3's...we'll be alright. Defensive pressure is getting there, chemistry is starting to come together...one thing I always feel watching Bruce Pearl's Vols, especially in years past, is that even when we're down....game's not over yet. You just wait for the run. Go Vols!

It is imperative that we "hold serve" in TBA this year. We cannot let the Cats steal one on the road.

There is no doubt that this is a HUGE game, I am a little nervous as KY has played us very well in the CBP era.

It was an electric atmosphere last wednesday. Loudest i've seen TBA since the comeback OT win against Texas a couple years back. It was rocking until half the fans decided to get up and leave with 2 minutes left in OT

actually, UT went of as a 7.5 point favorite.... I imagine that line will change a lot, but that's where the "smart money" started.

UK friend of mine told me it was 7/ this morning and I told him I couldn't back the Vols with that number.

The swing of the game will be who gets their third first half foul quicker - Patterson or Chism?
