I don’t think the committee will put three SEC teams as 2-seeds. It shouldn’t matter that we are from the same conference, but I’m pretty sure it does to them. That’s why UK or AU would have to drop. Why would we have to bump Auburn or Kentucky? I mean, I think there’s a strong argument for us being the highest of the SEC teams. But all 3 of us could be 2s with either Villanova or Purdue.
If Tn wins today, they will be the best team in the SEC due to having the best overall record in the conference. They beat Arizona head to head. Tn should get a 1 seed. If they lose they should still get the two seed. Of course I am a little bias in my analysis. And Texas A&M should be in regardless of what happens today.I’m not convinced that TN gets a 2 with a win over aTm. But Bruce lost early AND had a much easier conference schedule. It w/b a se we ious screw job to give it to Barn instead.
But I don’t want to jump ahead. Got to whoop them Aggies asses.
Makes you wonder what’s the point of even doing the conference tournaments? I mean besides the mid majors and bubble teams getting the automatic bids. Why risk our key players to injury??
That would be my argument.. but since we haven’t won the tourney in like 40 years I would love to win it!!
I just feel like Kentucky, duke,Villanova and some other teams get the nod for 1 seeds even if a team like us is on par with them if not better.
Why not us?? Before the tournament everybody was putting auburn and Kentucky as potential 1 seeds. We beat both teams!! Kentucky twice!! Why can’t we be a number 1 if we win the conference championship? Am I missing something??
I’m reading that people even have Tennessee as a 3 seed? That’s absolutely a smack to the face of this team.!
If we win tomorrow what holds us back from the one seed? If Kentucky wins the tournament I can almost guarantee they would get the 1 seed and we’ve had a better season then them imo.
They won at Kansas. That’s really it.Without reading what everyone else has to say (hey, gotta get some food ready before the game starts!), I don't know how we could not be seeded ahead of Kentucky, if we win today. Number 1, we won the tournament. Number 2, they've won nothing. Number 3, we beat them head to head, 2 - 1. Number 4, we beat Auburn, they didn't. Number 5, our record is identical to theirs, and I'm pretty sure we had a higher strength of schedule.
Someone tell me any thing they did better than us this year?
