‘23 NV RB Will Stallings

Hope we keep this guy and add kalifa Keith. Need the depth and the bigger bodies. I could see whitehead transferring.

Unless jerick Gibson were able to reclassify and would come here. That would be a game changer.

I wouldn't mind him keeping both regardless. If we get into a situation like Saturday, where it's obvious that we're going to be throwing the ball, we need some guys that are a little more stout to take on pass rushers. You never know which one could be spectacular with daily competition to be the big RB.
Exactly.

Also, 1 could become a lb (i.e. Jeremy Banks and many others…)

Stallings is the most likely candidate for the position change if he stays in this class. It's been difficult trying to find info about how he's performed this season.

I found stats from this year. Apparently Stallings only played in two games this. In those 2 games, he had 17 carries for 163 yards and 3 TDs. He averaged 9.6 yards per carry. He also has 1 reception for 16 yards. No info on if he was injured or why he only played in 2 games.

Don’t get attached, I think they’re trying to improve

You don't sign a guy like this to move him. I am hoping he is very underrated like Cedric Tillman was. They saw him at camp and offered.
My comment was in response to the off chance that we sign Stallings and Keith. If one is buried on the depth chart, but could help at linebacker then Stallings would be the most likely candidate in that scenario. My personal belief is that we need multiple big, physical running backs and multiple quicker, all- purpose running backs.

That’s right there was some transfer issue for him also wasn’t there?

I think it had to do with his transferring

We’ve got 2 talented freshmen RB’s waiting to play and return Small and Wright. It’s going to take a really good RB to come in and see the field next year

The Vols do not have a top flight SEC back on the roster. This is a big need and adding a big back with speed would be a huge upgrade to the offense.

Every position could use top flight talent additions. Just saying we’re not desperate at rb - the cupboard isn’t bare.

We need a stud rb, our rb’s have done nothing special this year, and if we want sustained success on offense we need to add a rb that is a threat to take it to the house every time he touches the ball, and right now we dont have that, and I dont think Stallings could provide that either

Yep. This is why everybody was wanting Gibbs so bad last year. If we could find a Kamara 2.0, can you imagine? I think people were/are hoping Sampson could turn into that. He just has to figure out how not to get our QB killed first.
It was one hit
And came from the opposite side of him
Maybe learn something about this topic first
Smart call by lsu more than dogging the rb

Vols/LSU

Maybe it's you that needs to learn something about this topic. 50:29 in the video. "Opposite side of him"? It was a blown assignment and he didn't see the field after that. You can even see Hooker talking to him like "What the heck are you doing" after the play.
