The question is what information AV has posted in advance that turned out to be right and possibly confirms he has some insider cred. Anyone who can give a few examples will be appreciated by me at least.
I've only been a member a year; however, I stalked this site for a few years before that. It was mostly in the FF until I realized the fun of the RF. I preface that to say I'm not the one to provide details of past hits or misses but I definitely thought when he came out and said Washington was visiting way before everyone else did and kept claiming we'd get last official that it showed me he was locked in somewhere.

I'm in the camp of being appreciative for the info he brings. Makes the board much more fun in my opinion.

No idea if been talked about since haven’t followed board a few days... there were some highlights of him running routes that rivals posted where I thought to myself “ he has some of the slowest feet getting in and out of a break that a safety has all day to react” perhaps he just was going through the motions of a practice rep?

In terms of recruiting classes the four prior to smart’s arrival averaged 8th. To put that in perspective UT averaged 11th for the four years before Pruitt. While there was a decent foundation he had a frosh QB 2 straight years, Chubb coming off an acl and pcl tear, and no depth on either line.

Butch's top classes were quantity over quality. When you sign 29 recruits, you better have a Top 10 class. Also, several of the top guys that pumped up our ratings (Kongbo, Kamara, Pearson, etc) were JUCO, so they weren't here when Pruitt took over (except Kongbo for 1 year). Not to mention, Butch just recruited stars and not players that fit a specific system, so we had a bunch of square pegs that didn't fit into round holes.

He will grow into a ol before it is all said and done.

If you're serious and really wanting to know:

He's told us several times that the coaches will be flying out to see a recruit etc., before even the paid sites know. (Crouch as 1 example but several others).
Same thing with kids secretly visiting.
You can go back to the beginning of this thread. We were NOT supposed to be in this battle to begin with, AV is the only one that said "yes we are, just wait for it".
No one thought we'd get a late visit from DW but AV not only said we would, but we would get his last official. These things may seem minor now but they were crazy at the time. I could do many more but honestly, it's already "tldr" material.

We need @Atlanta VOL or @skeeter33418 or @MetalVolunteer or another insider to like a post today good or bad. If you like this post then DW is still a vol!
All respect to them, but you arent gonna know anything regardless what they post until DW himself reveals what his plans are. Just relax and wait to see it from the guy himself.

What gets me about this whole process is how many times DW came to UT, the relationship with Nieds, the last official with UT, and the media acts like meh, GA 100% pretty much the entire year! Acts like UT doesnt exist.....I would just love to see their reaction if he picked UT!!!!! And then.......

I hope we beat the damn brakes off of Indiana!!!!!!!

GO BIG ORANGE!!!!!!!!

He’s a Red Zone threat every time due to his freakish height.

Not many 6’7 corners in college.

So to recap:

He's visited us twice (unofficial on Nov 2 and then official on Dec 13, which was his last official) since he last visited UGA (Sep 21) or even had a visit from UGA staff (Sep 27).

He's committing 2 hours before UT plays the only bowl game today, (if he commits to UT) giving commentators a talking point about the "redemption of UT football from atrocious start in 2019, ignited by prominent commitment in 2020 over key rivals UGA and Bama".

He gone.

You don’t know the value of a great TE then

Depends on how the coaches use them.

Not one Georgia TE had any receptions last night in the sugar bowl.

Chaney is known for getting his TEs involved in the passing game which is why it would make more sense for Washington to go to Tennessee than it would Georgia.

I think it's going to be during the UT game. (Halftime of UA game is during UT game).
And i believe there's 2 bowl games today. I think he visited uga in oct

247 has him committing in just a little under 8 hours, which would be 5pm EST.

And that's just what 247 has on him, they could be wrong on all counts (commit time and visitation)
