I will never understand why people try to bash AV. Dude is nothing but class. He takes time out of his day to provide us info and keep us up to date the best he can. He’s done so much for people in this board over the years. Like real life tangible things, but because he gets bad info or a recruit lies to him he a POS. @Orangeslice13 said it best.

AV is who he says he is.
Having said that.....it’s a message board. Believe him or don’t. It’s not going to change anything. If your feelies got hurt because someone on a message board got you excited and they we’re wrong, then that’s more of a you problem.

Serious question. What inside information has AV hit on in the past that gives everyone the level of confidence that many seem to have?
I'd say the recruitment of DW is evidence that AV is connected. I may be wrong here because I haven't followed this recruitment as closely as many others, but wasn't AV saying we had a chance before anyone knew we had a chance and before DW's name was mentioned in the War Room on Volquest?

So to recap:

He's visited us twice (unofficial on Nov 2 and then official on Dec 13, which was his last official) since he last visited UGA (Sep 21) or even had a visit from UGA staff (Sep 27).

He's committing 2 hours before UT plays the only bowl game today, (if he commits to UT) giving commentators a talking point about the "redemption of UT football from atrocious start in 2019, ignited by prominent commitment in 2020 over key rivals UGA and Bama".

He gone.
You left out the part where it's reported that he hasn't been in contact with UT or Bama coaches and reports like that haven't come out on the UGA side. That's what makes me think he signed with UGA, even though all the other signs point to Tennessee... including his comments about the team's coaches whom he signed with.

With a defense like they got, why does a TE need receptions? Hell they were missing 6 D starters. I'm just a tad bit jelly but it's only because I am a cfb fanatic. I can watch Div lll and get a woody.

Then again, it was......................................................... Baylor.
Baylor's offense was trash. Their o-line didn't protect and their QB sucked at making reads. GA's defense is great, but hell, even I called all their plays. They're going man here, blitz there, and what do ya know, Baylor falls for it every time 🤦

They can't confirm anything from UGA. CJP has been known to mislead the beat writers, such as HT.....they were reporting Bama or Washingtom based on what TN was telling them.

Fan Forum "Insiders" are like Chinese Restaurants giving fortune cookies.

Every now and then, a fortune will come true. AV seems to have better fortune cookies than most, so I'll keep going to his restaurant..

He had 2 5* backs and one of them was coming off a major knee injury. It was evident Chubb wasn't 100% in Smart's first or second year. UGA also didn't have any 5* WR's. George Pickens was UGA's first 5* WR since AJ Green. And then the biggest issue was having to rely on a frosh QB and lack of depth in the trenches. As for the defense, the first round picks were true sophomores his first year with no starting experience, meaning they weren't ready off the jump Kirby and his staff had to develop them.

It is a generalization to base first year HC expectations off recruiting rankings alone. You can't do it for UGA then not do it for UT unless you're intentionally trying to show your bias. Every team suffers attrition and both teams had culture issues. Again, UT was in a worse situation, but UGA's situation wasn't perfect either.

First, oh how terrible that UGA only had 1 completely healthy 5 star back to choose from.... What a disaster! Give me a break with that BS. Smart had 2 future starting NFL RBs at his disposal and that's a fact.

Secondly, Terry Godwin was a 5 star athlete. Arguing he wasn't technically a WR is semantics. He was clearly brought in to be a WR. And regardless, I said 4 and 5 stars.

Yes, a freshman QB is an issue, but he happened to be the No. 1 QB in country that recruiting cycle, so certainly not your typical freshman QB.

The amount of games started is irrelevant. The talent was already in the program before Smart arrived, which is the point. Smart inherited a 10 win program full of NFL talent.

Does anyone have a log of AV things that I can throw at people when they question him so that threads don't constantly get de-railed by naysayers?

I still lean VOL for many reasons....

1.He stated he visited UT 6 times
2. Was here several times to see practices to see how he would be developed and used.
3. Relationship with Nieds.
4. Last official to UT
5. Even though he stated he had already signed...he goes to watch Mariettas game and HB.
6. GA uses TEs for run blocking 99%
7. I believe DW wants to play for the Vols and Nieds because of how he will be utilized and he knows he can be a difference maker here.
8. Bottom line, there will be no glory in being a run blocker for GA and he will not get the targets, stats, and he wants that ball!!!!!!! He is a baller!!!!!

GBO!!!!!!!!!!!!

I have as many reasons why he wont come as well but I will NOT be listing them!

I have to admit, I have always been a Gator hater 1st, Buckfama 2nd, Dawgturds 3rd.... after reading some of the comments from their forums about us, the rankings might get shaken up a bit.....

Didn’t know it was a mandate that Kirby win an NC within four years. He has an SEC title, three East titles, a Rose Bowl, and a Sugar Bowl. I’ll take it.
Difference is if Pruitt and this staff have that level of talent, they’re sitting on 2 national titles with it about to be 3.

Don't feed the troll. You get nowhere trying to talk sense to a dawg fan.
