^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^Despite Gucci trying hard every day to stir this thread he's kinda correct to AV's landing spot predictions.
I don't even pay attention to AV saying we'll land a recruit. He just repeats what the kid leads him to believe. It's all the other info he brings that I like. If you follow that way and don't worry about trusting an 18 year old, it's a lot more fun.
Depends on how the coaches use them.
Not one Georgia TE had any receptions last night in the sugar bowl.
Chaney is known for getting his TEs involved in the passing game which is why it would make more sense for Washington to go to Tennessee than it would Georgia.

Did u just call kyle Phillips damaged goods? Had a nice senior year under Pruitt and is now starting games in the NFL
Nobody pays much attention to him. Which is making him jealous and petty. If @Big Gucci Sosa were really committed to stirring this thread, he’d come in here this morning with “oh phukkkkkk. VOL” and then go dark. It’d be funny as hell.
I agree you can’t look at recruiting rankings and make a generalization. The rankings don’t account for attrition or program culture. That’s why it’s incorrect to say it about uga or ut.
If you're serious and really wanting to know:
He's told us several times that the coaches will be flying out to see a recruit etc., before even the paid sites know. (Crouch as 1 example but several others).
Same thing with kids secretly visiting.
You can go back to the beginning of this thread. We were NOT supposed to be in this battle to begin with, AV is the only one that said "yes we are, just wait for it".
No one thought we'd get a late visit from DW but AV not only said we would, but we would get his last official. These things may seem minor now but they were crazy at the time. I could do many more but honestly, it's already "tldr" material.
He had 2 5* backs and one of them was coming off a major knee injury. It was evident Chubb wasn't 100% in Smart's first or second year. UGA also didn't have any 5* WR's. George Pickens was UGA's first 5* WR since AJ Green. And then the biggest issue was having to rely on a frosh QB and lack of depth in the trenches. As for the defense, the first round picks were true sophomores his first year with no starting experience, meaning they weren't ready off the jump Kirby and his staff had to develop them.Except that UGA clearly had more returning talent when Smart took over. That isn't a generalization. Not to mention, the 4 previous years isn't a good barometer considering the majority of players from the first recruiting class in that sample would be red-shirt seniors by the time the new coach took over. The vast majority of that class would have either graduated, left early for the draft, transferred, or were lost to injury.
And honestly, that 2015 recruiting class is what makes our average ranking look so good, but when Pruitt took over, most of the best players of that class had already left the program via draft or transfer or were injured.
When Smart took over at UGA, he had a literal stable of 4 and 5 star backs and receivers and one of the most talented defenses in the league that featured multiple future 1st round picks. The 2015 and 2014 classes were particularly loaded with NFL talent.
Not only that but the times he's been wrong....
He posted a champaign emoji in the Justin Rogers thread during the Spring Game. Later came out that Rogers told the staff he was in, VQ had the commitment video filmed and Rogers was ready to commit, but someone in his circle got to him, and Rogers kept postponing the commitment and eventually (obviously) never did and went to KY.
He said last signing day he felt like we'd get Justin Eboigbe. JE went to Alabama but in interviews said he was torn all night. Went to bed thinking he'd pick UT but when we woke up he felt UA in his heart. Something like mind told him UT, heart UA and went with his heart.
Said we'd get Joseph Anderson the night before ESD. Came out that while JA picked uscjr… JA had told our staff he was gonna pick UT - probably trolling us because Muschamp is a douche and JA buttsore we didn't make him a priority early on.
He told us Vai Kaho was only a back up option while everyone on the forum had him coming here and CB's were coming in for UT after he decommitted to Nevada.
Tells us all the time about visits before anyone else does.
I mean, I think there are a lot of imposters on this forum as far as wanting E-cred. Even some who maybe used to get info but don't anymore but still try to play the role for validation. But @Atlanta VOL is as solid as can be. I'll never understand why people are obsessed with trying to believe hes wrong.
this.Post is solid and spot on.
I'm sure the reasons for not liking him vary. Some get mad because they get their hopes up and want to blame someone.
Others just hate anyone too popular - remember seeing this a lot in high school.
And had an ex girlfriend that would call every other pretty girl a derogatory name even tho she'd never met them.
First play in one of his highlight videos he catches a pass then literally leaps over the safety and bulldozes his way to the end zone. My reaction: mother of God! He's a defenders nightmare. And a big target for 3rd down conversions as well....he dont have to be fast.....just be able to catch and good luck tackling that beast.....
