No. LG glosses it over - AGAIN - by pointing to right wing blogger world.

Here's a hint. It doesn't work.

Seeing how the Japanese are one of our biggest allies, I don't take it too poorly. Misguided attempt at a showing of respect I guess. Nothing worth crying about.

We chose to let problems fester, instead of dealing with them (Osama was only part of that, tho a major part). All the while, we were defunding, and weakening our military.

Actually pretty simple.

Not actually, What you perceive as a weakening of our military was actually the evolution of it. We planned on smaller combat units to be able to do more and the gulf wars proved that we did just that. The military, never in its existence was designed to be a nation building organism. Yes, Clinton did damage, but so have a lot of other presidents and the military adapts to overcome this.

As for Obama bowing to the Japanese emperor, I wonder how many are factoring in the weakening of our alliance since the new party came into power? He may have just stopped them from breaking away from us entirely. I for one do not want to lose the alliance we share nor the strategic asset they are. If it required our president to show what they believe is respect then so be it.

1) thats you opinion, and you are entitled to it, but all of the career military personnel I know, totally disagree.

2)If bowing to him fixes that problem, the alliance is not worth having. Sign of things to come with this administration.
