Obama bows again

1) thats you opinion, and you are entitled to it, but all of the career military personnel I know, totally disagree.

That's funny since all the career military personnel I know agree with me, or I should say I agree with them. It's not to say we don't grumble when any administration throws us a curve ball, we just have to plan accordingly.

2)If bowing to him fixes that problem, the alliance is not worth having. Sign of things to come with this administration.

Okay, which alliance is worth saving?

He thinks he has to save all of them, and the jesture toward the Japanese leader is what he is doing to everyone in a sense. Friend or Foe. That is the point. Yes it is obvious we should keep our alliance with Japan in the best shape it can be in, but if he has to bow to fix that, it will never be what it needs to be.

As far as the military goes, smaller units and such will not be the problem. The problem will occur if and when he spends trillions of more money we don't have. Cuts will take place, and the military will be first in line (and that doesn't mean just troops). He thinks he can negotiate our way out of our conflicts with terrorism. He will be proved wrong.

Anyone who thinks that a momentary bow like that makes even the slightest bit of difference in world politics is a complete idiot.

It means nothing. It signifies nothing. Its an old custom. No armies are planning to invade, no allies are thinking of backing out of agreements with us, no terrorist is suddenly emboldened to do somethign they weren't already going to do.

The ONLY people noticing and commenting about this are people so jaded with hate for the man that no matter what he does, its traitorous.

You just blew up your whole point.

"It means nothing" ?
"It signifies nothing" ?

Then why do it?
I don't dance, unless I hear music.

It means a lot to the Japanese, not so much to anyone else

Speak for yourself.

You are correct, it is a symbol to the Japanese.
It is also a symbol of how he is treating our enemies, by bringing them on our soil, and giving them the same rights as the people they killed on 9/11.

When did the Japanese become US citizen terrorist?

Not really, it appears you are confusing events.

Not really.

The "symbol" of him bowing to the Japanese leader, is exactly what he is literally doing to our terrorist enemies. Not sure if I would take that as a compliment, if I was the Japanese.

Unless he thinks they're not really terrorist, murderers, and they are US citzens.

I guess he is still looking into the motive behind the Ft. Hood terrorist attack as well.

Read it again in context. I said those things in context of world politics. It will have absolutely no effect on world politics. Nothing will change or happen because of it.

It means a lot to the Japanese, not so much to anyone else.

Culturally, its the same thing as shaking his hand and saying thanks for having us over.

Only complete nutjob right wingers would ever make anything of this.

You know i was really excited when obama became president and the more time that passes i have to admit i am losing a little bit of faith in his ability to do what he said he was going to to.

With that being said i am so happy to have obama because for the last 8 long years my president was the biggest idiot in the world. A lying, stupid dictator that was the devil in the flesh. Everything about him was wrong. He didn't care about the American people. His response to 911 and hurricane Katrina were unacceptable. I HATE GEORGE BUSH. He is the reason were in this mess. Make no mistakes about it Obama didn't get America into this hole were in. He looked so stupid every time he spoke. I love to show hardcore republicans the you tube videos of him looking and sounding so stupid during interviews or debates. Whats great about that is no matter how republican they are they can't help but to laugh and agree that he is an idiot.

The way his regime used terror alerts to try to scare us and try to convince us that Iraq had weapons of mass destruction. You want to invade Iraq because Saddam was a threat or because of the way he treated his country. FINE. get a coalition together and do it. Don't lie to us though. All those people that died because he was so slow to respond to Katrina makes me sick. I know of a lot of people that live in new york that think that 911 was planned by his regime to. They say that fireman and policeman that were on sight said they heard bombs going off inside the buildings. And that never in history has a building built like the ones that fell in 911 had ever fallen because of fire but yet 3 did that day. yea you read it right 3. Their was another tower that fell and when you watch it fall it looks just like a demolition. Wouldn't surprise me one bit their was a conspiracy. When he got re-elected it was the only time that i was embarrassed to be an American. I mean how could our public re-elect this lying piece of crap. And i don't think McCain would have been any different. I have a feeling that one day after were all gone our great great grandchildren will find out more and more lies and conspiracy's that his regime were apart of.Don't wish death upon anybody but i can't wait till he croaks and can take his rightful place in hell.

I'll take obama and his spending habits over bush anyday.

noticed you didn't try to defend bush. but could you really. My girlfriends a republican and her family members are hardcore republican. Knowing this when i first met them i tried my best to stay away from politics. It came up, i got blasted for liking obama, but when i mentioned bush they never once tried to defend him, not one person not one time. They just kept blasting obama and democratic thinking. Look i think obamas a hell of a salesman and a great speaker, I don't agree with everything he is doing, but anything is better than 8 more years of the same.

Bush had his problems. However, he cut taxes. Unemployment was low for 6 of the 8 years he was in office. After 9-11 the policies his administration put in place kept the US safe. He was amazingly thick-skinned. Obama could never have tolerated the amount of vitriol that Bush had heaped on him by the press.

Most of which he brought on himself. and yeah he cut taxes and he also spent trillions in a war. I agree that something had to be done to fight terrorism, i just wish we had someone smarter and a little more patient than the texas cowboy.

Bush is smarter than either Al Gore or John Kerry. He's probably smarter than Obama. Obama has yet to do a single thing to show me that he's anything more than a college-level Marxist incapable of an original thought.

you know anytime you disagree with someone it's like a game. It's important that you make good points to counter their good points. You need to listen to their argument and sometimes when your dealing with a competent person you agree to disagree.

However sometimes the person you disagree with states something so stupid and outlandish that you have to stop arguing your points because you don't want to waste your time arguing with an idiot. this is one of those times. People accused bush of being alot of things but never accused him of being smart. and smarter than gore seriously, i hate gore damn treehugger but i know he is intelligent and when he speaks i can hear that intelligence even though i disagree with alot of his opinions. When i hear bush speak i just shake my head and think how can anyone be so dumb. But as i said no point in arguing with you anymore. goodbye

again, lawgator, and now Algore, is happy to have you on his side. Al Gore is a moron and a hypocrite. He's made himself tens of millions of dollars selling snake oil to people who believe in his brand of environmental fascism. So I guess in that sense, he is a pretty smart guy, but only to the idiots who buy his crap.

Bush's college transcripts show him to have a higher GPA, while in college, than Gore or Kerry. It's hard to say about Obama since his transcripts have never been released.

I will not defend Bush, I did not agree with much of what he did as president. You on the other hand are as bad as the lunatic right wingers. You choose to believe insane left wing conspiracy theories that take witness statements out of context, not to mention observations and statements that were made while people were in shock and struggling to comprehend the unimaginable acts they were thrust into by Muslim extremists.

You would be correct in your assertions that this was the first time 3 buildings had been brought down by fire, at least three buildings of this magnitude. You also forgot to mention that it was also the first time planes full of aviation fuel had also struck buildings like these. The conspiracy theories have been refuted by the best structural engineers and experts in the field.

I love to debate issues, both with those I agree as well as those I don't. Your beliefs are yours and you're entitled to them. I find it very hard to listen to this crap though, especially when real science and experts have presented the truth, you need to realize you're being blinded by your hate for Bush. I do not like Obama much at all, this is a known fact, yet I do not believe in the "birther" movement because there is no real evidence to support it.

What I am getting at is you're blinded so much by your hate for one man that you will believe almost anything negative about him. Whether you realize this or not that is a very dangerous thing, both for you and this nation.

Just my two cents here.
