Obama gets a pass for inheriting a mess?

Its a thorn for sure. He would have already walked away with the nomination IMO without that cloud. Whats bad is that your forced to take him on his word for what he's going to do on a federal level. Hard sell given his line of work.

clown wont get my vote

Romney is as far left as Obama, lol. You really think he will repeal new healthcare law? He is just saying what the far right wants to hear. The GOP has been using the South to get elected for years now. The use their triple G strategy: Guns, God, and Gays. And the South falls for it everytime. All the time they are laughing to the bank with their Wall Street buddies, laughing at us dumb hicks.

Of course he is going to repeal Obamacare. Its his #2 campaign issue just behind Job creation and he has been saying it since he started campaigning. Romeny isnt like Obama and isnt going to run around the country and make a bunch of BS promises and then never deliver. Thats what is going to get Obama thrown out. Romeny isnt stupid, he knows two things will get him elected and then re-elected and thats repeal Obamacare (which he will do on day 1) and get the UE rate below 7%. If he does those two things, he gets re-elected in a landslide. If he gets the UE rate below 5% in his 2nd term, he gets to hand pick his successor. The Democrates just dont realize how bad Obama is setting your party back. He has been a huge disatser. 50% of this country is NOT voting for Obama

Also Romney doesnt need to pander to the South. All he really needs is the middle/upperclass Suburbanites in areas such as Charlotte/ Raleigh, Northern VA, Philly/Pittsburg, Columbus/Cleveland/Cincinatti, Indianapolis.

One term President.

I Romney is the nominee... my money is on Obama. There is not enough of a distinction between the two. When that is the case, moderates go with who is most likeable. Romney isn't more likeable now and certainly won't be when the MSM is finished with him.

He may be. I think they MSM supports Romney for the same reason they supported McCain. One, they think he's the least of the evils from their ideological pov. There's no chance he will undo most of what they've passed or reduce the power of gov't. Two, they know he's the easiest to beat.

I think Perry could potentially do a few good things... but he'd do harm too. Does not matter though. He doesn't have a snow ball's chance.

Before 2008, McCain is a media darling. He's the "maverick" who stands up against the GOP establishment.

In 2008, McCain is angry, frail old man who tows the party line. Also, the media is concerned he might die in office.

After 2008, McCain is a media darling and maverick once again.

I see the same thing happening to Romney. Now, he's a rational, pragmatic, moderate leader. If he's the candidate, he will be a greedy, white guy, Wall Streeter, racist, Obama-lite, and adherent to a non-mainstream religion.

 ..im hoping this is some kind of horrible attempt at sarcasm. If he deserves a second chance I also deserve a chance. I've done about as much as he has.

You gave an order to engage the mission to kill the worst terrorist in American history?

Fulmer is Bush
Kiffin is Obama
Dooley is whichever GOP follows Obama

Fulmer/Bush started the mess
Kiffin/Obama took the mess and drove it off the cliff

Give Dooley time!!!!

You're obviously an extremely biased republican thinking a GOP POTUS is the only answer

I think many are naive enough to believe that since Obama is obviously not the answer.... any other answer is preferrable. A GOP POTUS may not be the answer and is most definitely not the "only answer". However it is plain to any rational person that Obama and the policies of the Progressive left are DEFINITELY NOT the answer.

The problem is that there is a significant Progressive wing in the GOP establishment. They DO disagree with Progressive Dems (Dems are totally dominated by Progressive ideals). However they do not disagree with Dems on power being centralized in the Federal gov't. They simply disagree with them on how that power should be used.

Many conservatives have difficulty recognizing the difference between Progressive GOP rhetoric and genuine conservative libertarian principles. It is by design. The establishment GOP knows it has to have conservative votes to get power.

This is why we have the Tea Party and why conservatives feel betrayed by the GOP.

It is also incidentally why I am finished voting for the "lesser of two evils".

Nobody is forcing Obama to run for a 2nd term. There is still plenty of time for him to step aside and let another Dem run. That would be in the best interest of his party
